Everyone thought fall term went by too quickly. The boys all passed their remedial secondary classes, some needing more help than others.
Ashton, Calum, and Harry needed help with math, which Sierra was happy to give. Savana and Lindsay helped everyone proofread and improve any written works they did. Grammar was Lindsay's specialty and she passed it off to Savana for spelling. It was splitting the work evenly as best they thought possible.
The girls were already registered for winter term classes, however they were still in finals week. Lindsay had been taking it in stride, with her four class finals being a breeze. Savana was dealing with a more difficult week. Her teachers hadn't taught hardly anything, and she was expected to know it all. It didn't help that alcohol was her go-to stress relief because, after about two or three cans, she couldn't read anymore.
Sierra was in an entirely different state of stress. Organic chemistry was hard, no matter how many times she went over her flashcards or looked at her notes. Savana and Lindsay had helped her go over it, but Sierra always managed to get some wrong. She was worried about her last two finals of the week.
Thursday of finals week, the three girls walked to their classes, on a group call with one another. Sierra was grumbling. "Sierra! You'll do great. You studied all you could have, and, so what if you get a few wrong? You have an A in the class already, and I doubt a B will drop it by much." Lindsay tried her best to comfort her.
"I know, I just.. What if I do horribly and tell my grandma? She hates hearing that I didn't do a good job in school." She sighed, "And my biology professor e-mailed everyone and said that the final would be mostly molecular biology. We studied that for, like, three days in November! I don't understand college sometimes." Sierra was near tears when she walked up to the door of her lecture hall, "I just don't want her to be disappointed in me."
Savana spoke, "Hey! I love you, so it's time for some tough love before we all walk in to take some shit tests. Listen to me, Sierra, you are one of, if not the, smartest girl I've ever met. If anyone's going to grab the organic chemistry and molecular biology finals by the balls, it's you. If you go into those finals thinking you're underprepared or that you're going to fail, that's exactly what you're going to do. You got to go into that lecture hall, sit in that chair and act like that test is your bitch, okay? Show them no mercy. Besides, who cares if you get a few wrong, you'll find a way further in the test to make up for them. Lindsay, good luck, I love you. Sierra, you're going to kick that test where it hurts, and you're going to pass, got it?"
Sierra smiled as she nodded, "Yeah, I got it." Lindsay stifled laughter on the her end.
"Good," Savana asserted herself, "Now I have to go, my teacher's looking at me funny. Later!" She hung up, leaving Lindsay and Sierra on the line.
The both mumbled a quick 'Good Luck' to one another, and hung up, walking into their lecture halls with a deep breath.

Savana and Lindsay sat in the campus cafe, waiting for Sierra to come back with news about her final. Savana sat, drinking a fruity mess of a drink, and Lindsay went sensible with a hot coffee to warm her up. Lindsay shifted in her seat a lot, thinking about Sierra, "Sav, I'm so worried about her. What if she doesn't do well?"
The blonde girl looked up at her with wide eyes, "When you had doubts about that date with Niall, what did Sierra and I do?" She put her phone face down on the table, leaning on her elbow to look at Lindsay.
"Uh," She tried to remember, "You guys told me that everything was going to be okay and that I shouldn't worry about it."
"And what have you guys told me when I'm freaking out about every little possible thing that could happen in any given situation?" Savana picked up her drink and sipped slowly.
