Niall sat on his phone in the living room a week later, watching his phone.
"Hey, man," Luke walked in and jumped down next to him on the couch, "What's going on?"
Luke's sudden appearance startled Niall, "Oh, I'm just, uh, waiting for something to show up."
"Hmm, okay, like what?" He leaned over, looking at Niall's phone. He saw a small map with a banner across the top that said 'Arrival in 4 minutes.' "What'd you order?"
"I ordered a bunch of stuff that Lindsay likes. I ordered a huge sunflower floral arrangement, some of the snacks I know she loves, and a few other things. I really want her to forgive me." He said.
Luke smiled apologetically, "Gifts will help, mate, but all you've got to do is tell her you're sorry and explain why. She still loves you, I'm sure of it."
"Yeah, but," Niall paused, "I want to make sure she remembers the first time I asked her out. I put a bunch of balloons and flowers around her bed, and when she got home, I asked her to dinner that night." He smiled as he thought about it. "I just want her to forgive me and I'm doing the best I know how."
"Niall," Savana spoke as she walked out of the hallway, "If you're telling the truth about everything you just said, she's going to forgive you without you having to say a word. She does still love you. The three, well, four now, talk about you guys every night before we go to bed."
Luke looked at her, "Is that something girls really do?" He didn't let her answer before he asked, "Hey, where's the baby?"
"She's sleeping with Mikey," She smiled before pointing over her shoulder, "Honestly, I think Michael loves that baby more than me. Anyway, yes, that's something girls do a lot. I don't speak for them all, but I know the three of us discuss our boys a lot. Sometimes we bitch, and sometimes we admire, it depends on the day." She sat down in a chair beside them, "Niall, she hasn't said a bad thing about you since that night. The only criticism she's had is the excessive drinking. She's had bad experiences with alcoholism in her family, and she hates seeing you spiraling. If you truly want her back, you'll have to limit your drinking."
He took a deep breath, "Yeah, okay, I-I can do that."
"Good," Savana smiled, "Now, I'm going to help you because lord knows you look like trash right now." She stood up and held her hand out, "You're getting a facial, and no, not the porn kind." Her smile didn't waiver, but she got Niall to crack at the porn joke. she led him into the bathroom.
"So what are we going to do first?" Niall said enthusiastically.
Savana sat on the counter, "Well, first, we're going to take a minute to reassess our thoughts. We're going to take a few deep breaths and relax for a moment." She watched as Niall sat on the toilet seat lid and close his eyes. "Take a breath in, now out. Why are you apologizing?" Savana started.
"I want her to know that I feel sorry for what I did, and I want her to know that it's not her fault." Niall kept his eyes closed.
Savana led him through some deep breathing before grabbing a dining room chair, bringing it into the bathroom, and letting him sit down, "Savana, what are we even doing?"
"You look like you've been buried for years, came up out of the ground, and decided to live here. We're going to wash your face, do an under eye mask to get rid of those dark circles, then I'm going to dermaplane your face." She pulled out a few small bottles and products with a small, single-use razor. "I know Lindsay likes clean and orderly. Oh, let me go grab the cucumber." She said, starting her walk out of the room.
Niall held her arm, "Wait, wait, wait, why a cucumber?"
She rolled her eyes, "It's for your under eyes. It'll feel refreshing after the mask and while I dermaplane. Now sit down and relax. Stress makes you get wrinkles." She smiled.
Michael leaned by the door, "Trust me, she's really good at that kinda thing." He wiggled his fingers.
"Oh, I hope you're right." Niall wriggled uncomfortably, "I just don't want to open my eyes and look in a mirror and see that she's fucked me over."
Michael smirked, "Hey, baby?"
"Yeah?" She called as she came back down the hall.
"Whatever you do to his face, could you do to mine?" He smiled, "I'll get the chair and everything."
Savana shrugged, "Yeah, but you can watch first. Lindsay's going to be home in a few hours and I want to make sure he's completely clean for her."
"Alright, then I'll just use his chair when he's done." He said with a smile, sitting on the toilet seat lid with them. "And I'll be patient this time."
"God, I fucking love you." Savana said aggressively, but with a smile.
"And I love fuc-" Michael began.
"Okay, can you two not when I'm right between you?" Niall opened his eyes as Savana started putting a warm rag on his face.
"Shut up and close your eyes, I'm doing you a favor." Savana tossed the rag on his face, and he relaxed into it.
Half an hour later, Savana was finishing up as they heard Lindsay pull into the driveway. "You've got to go put different clothes on, mate." Michael shook his head as Niall sat up, looking like his old self again.
Lindsay made her way upstairs as Niall hurried to his bedroom to change. Savana and Michael decided to help him out. They rushed to Lindsay and got to her before she had the chance to put her backpack down, "Linds! Hey! How was class?" Savana started.
"Uhm," Lindsay paused, "It was fine. Why? What's up?"
Michael shrugged with a tight-lip smile, "Nothing, nothing's up." He wrapped his arm around Savana and they both gave a guilty smile. She was suspicious of the two, and knew something was going on.
"Seriously, what is-" Lindsay tried to speak before Savana took both of her hands and led her to Niall's door.
Savana let go, "I think there's someone in here who wants to tell you something." She smirked before walking off, Michael following her into the bathroom.
Lindsay took a deep breath before opening the door, seeing the amounts of sweets, snacks, and sunflowers all over Niall's area of the room.
Niall looked at her, as if he was still thinking of ways to start the conversation, "Before you start or say anything, I have some things to say."
