A couple weeks had passed. Elise's birthday was today, and everyone decorated and got gifts for her. Lindsay was upset she was missing it, after all, it was her best friend's daughter, but she was having her own fun in Ireland, looking at the venue.

Savana dressed her in the blue dress she bought while Michael finished decorating. Every decoration was blue, silver, or white. Her presents from her new parents sitting in the corner next to the entertainment set.

Josh and his friends, Simon, Tobi, and Vik, were the first to show up, and they brought loads of gifts.

Savana knew Josh through YouTube, since he and his friends were a popular group. They cam out with a merchandise line that had clothing in it, but they special ordered baby clothes and accessories for Elise's present. When Simon leaned in to whisper it to her, she rolled her eyes, but thanked them for the gift anyway. She handed Elise off to Tobi, and decided to check on Michael and the cake in the kitchen.

When she entered the kitchen, she saw Michael pacing back and forth, and messing with his hair a lot more than usual. His phone was lit up on the counter and he was avoiding it as much as possible. Savana walked over to him and stepped in front of his path, stopping him from going any further.

"Baby," She smiled, "What's wrong?" She fixed his shirt at the bottom as she waited for an answer.

Michael started to speak, but his words came out slurred and mashed together. He stopped, took a deep breath, and looked at her, "My mother's just landed at Heathrow, and she's headed here to see how I'm doing."

"Oh, that's good, isn't it?"  Savana said, "She'll get to meet our little Elise, and I'll finally get to introduce myself."

He stuttered, "That's the thing. I-I haven't told her about you yet. She told me before I left that she wanted me to focus on school before I even noticed girls," He softened his voice, "Much less Elise. If I told her that suddenly, between the time she landed and pulled up in the driveway, that I got a girlfriend and a kid? She'd be out-right pissed! I couldn't handle her like that."

"Wait, you haven't told her about me?" Savana was hurt. She figured he'd want to tell his mom immediately about their relationship, especially now that they had a daughter. She shook it off, knowing that she'd need to help him before his mom got here. "Never mind that, what do you want to do? I can't just get rid of everything. Hiding Elise will be much harder to manage."

"You and Josh can pretend to be her parents. We can go tell Josh and hopefully he'll be okay with it." Michael thought it was a fantastic idea, "But he can't get too close or anything. I'll tear his throat out."

Savana shook her head, "I'll run it by Josh and everyone else so no one says anything, okay?" She seemed okay with it, but he knew she'd get her revenge later.

"I love you so much, baby, you have no idea." Michael hugged her tightly.

"You owe me, asshole," She hugged back, tightening her grip, "Big time." They broke apart, and she walked into the living room with a smile.

Around 45 minutes later, Michael's mom showed up at the door. Savana and Josh sat next to each other on the couch, trying to keep Elise from watching her 'daddy' walk away from her. She kept turning to look at Michael, despite Savana's best efforts.

"Oh, mom, you're just in time for a first birthday party!" He motioned to the decorated living room as he welcomed her in.

She looked around, "Who's the birthday kid?"

Savana and Josh looked at one another, "Little Miss Elise.." She paused for a moment, "Bradley is turning one year old today!" She spoke after a second with a slight cringe. She lifted the baby onto her feet on her lap, letting her bounce.
