BOBBY
Whispers from an angel. Jessa. My Jessa. I slip from the haze of sleep to find her sitting on the edge of my bed. It's still dark and I hear soft snores surrounding me. I smile at her then I'm hit with confusion. She's not my partner. Things are awkward between us.
"Hey Bobby," she sounds apprehensive. "I don't have much time. Don't tell anybody I told you, but the girls are going on a secret trip."
"What?" I scan the room to find only one body in each bed. "Whoa they're all gone. How'd you manage that?"
"You guys sleep like logs, I swear," she sadly smiles.
"Where are you going?"
"Don't know. We're just leaving and it's meant to be a secret."
She's leaving? No. She can't leave. I need her here. We need to figure this out. "I hope you won't be gone too long."
"Yeah. Same." I hate this awkwardness that is surrounding us. She's leaving and there's so many unknowns in our relationship right now. "I didn't want to leave without saying good bye though." She looks at me with sadness. "Bye Bobby."
"Bye Lass," I whisper back. A brick settles in my chest. I don't want her to go. I quickly grab around her waist and pull her down onto my bed. I kiss her hard. I don't care that she's not my partner. I don't care that things are weird with us. I'm not letting her leave without a proper kiss. She pulls away and smiles all the way to her eyes. She seems lost in thought.
"Do you think they will notice if I don't go?" She asks.
"Good thinking. Let's hide you under the bed. Better yet, I'll dress up like a girl and go with you. I wear kilts. I don't mind." She stifles a giggle into the pillow and kisses me sweetly. I can feel her pulling away but I can't let go of her. I'm worried. "Please don't go yet," I beg.
"I have to, Bobby. I'm not even suppose to be in here." I kiss her again, running my hands over her back. "I have to go."
"Ok Lass. Have fun." I'll miss you.
When she walks from the room, I feel like part of my heart left with her. I should have said the I'll miss you out loud. I try to go back to sleep but I can't. I have to see her one more time. I jump up and run outside. Squinting into the sunlight, I see her climbing into a Jeep.
"See you later, girls!" I yell. Jessa turns and flashes me a beautiful smile. Lottie quickly slams the door. "I'll miss you." I say to myself as I watch the girls drive away yelling, "Girls on tour! Girls on tour!" Please come back to me soon.
JESSA
Our trip is short and we end up at Casa Amor. I could run back to Bobby. Though I'd probably get kicked off the show. If I scream, he might faintly hear me. That's how close we are.
"I can't believe we're actually here!" Chelsea squeaks as we walk inside and make our way to the bubbly. Chelsea passes out glasses as my phone sounds.
"Girls. Welcome to Casa Amor. You'll be staying here for a few days with some new islanders. Have fun. #GirlsWillBeGirls. #NewVillaNewRules. #EggsInBaskets."
A few days. My heart sinks. I just want to get back to Bobby and sort everything out. I don't like all the stuff that was left hanging between us. Memories from the awkwardness in the kitchen haunt me. I couldn't sleep last night. I need to fix what's important. I don't want to be here and deal with this crap. This isn't important. This part is a game. Bobby's real.
"New Islanders? Does that mean new boys?" Chelsea claps!
"Of course it does, babes," Lottie answers.
