Dinner

I went out of the restroom. Stagger at the result I was holding.

"What? Anong resulta?" Jainie asked.

Tears streaming down my face. As happiest was crumpling my heart. Hindi ko na alam ang sunod na nangyari dahil tulala lang aking sa aking tyan. The doctor handed me the result and it's positive.

"You're four weeks pregnant."

Habang nasa kotsye hindi ko mapigilang hawakan ang aking tyan.

"Ngitingiti mp gyan? Pagnalaman yan ng lolo nako patay kayong dalawa. Dapat kasal bago buntis."saad niya.

Ngumuso ako. "Pinaalala mo pa..."

"Are we going to Thorn?"

Umiling ako.

"Sa bahay na muna tayo... I want to surprise him..."

When we got home nagkulong kami sa kwarto. We brainstorm for ideas to surprise Thorn at napagkasundan namin mag paint ako ng baby stuffs at may hidden message dito. 'Na congratulations daddy'

Sa garden kami tumambay malayo kila mommy. Jainie help me step up the canvas and my paints. When I open the paints I immediately grimace. I held my lips for I was about to throw up.

"What happen?" Si Jainie. "Dalhia, okay ka lang?" Nagaalang niya tanong.

Umiling ako at nag mamadaling pumasok sa bahay at nag tungo sa sink. Dumuwal ako. Sinikop ni Jainie ang aking buhok habang ako'y dumuduwal.

Sumandig ako sa sink pagkatpos mag momog. I don't feel so good. I touch my belly while closing my eyes.

"Edmund, your daughter is pregnant...sino bang ibang boyfriend ni, Dalhia, hindi kaladkarin ang anak ko...hmm, I'll tell her that."

Nag usap pa sila bago pinatay ang tawag. She turned to me.

"Call, Thorn for dinner tonight your father wants to talk to him...and also your lolo is on his way here... I told you wag kakalampag agad..."
