It's been 2 months since everything happened, there's been very few missions and very little drama thank god.

I had woken up alone this morning which wasn't rare Buck was usually in the gym or with Steve so I wasn't worried. That was until I searched the compound top to bottom and no one was to be seen. At first I thought I was dreaming but the dreams were never like this.

"Buck!" I shouted.

"Nat!"

"Wanda?" There really was no one here? Had they gone on a mission without me? My hand had healed and I'd been on at least 5 since? I was starting to get worried now, seriously worried, I decided to call Bucky but it went straight to voicemail, so did Nat and so did Wanda and Steve.

"Oh my god am I dead?" I thought out loud pacing around the room.

"No your not dead." Bucky said strolling into the room.

"Where the hell have you been!" I said storming over.

"Come with me." He said grabbing my hand and leading me back to the gym.

"I looked for you in here but-"

"Read this." He passed me a small note and I opened it slowly.

"What day is it? How am I supposed to know! Tuesday? Now where is everyone?"

"Sam relax their okay, their part of the surprise."

"What surprise?"

"It's your birthday idiot!" Bucky said laughing.

"What it's not September 23rd..." I said pulling out my phone checking the date. "Oh it is!"

"Oh my god I can't believe you forgot your own birthday!"

"I've been busy." I said shrugging, Bucky laughed again squeezing my hand.

"Sam you deserve to be looked after, you spend so much time worrying about us that you don't worry about yourself."

"Thanks..." I said softly.

"Right present number one." Buck said reaching for something in the sports cupboard.

"There's more than one?"

"Of course now open this!" He passed me a small box with another note on it. I opened the box revealing a watch, a watch that I knew was extremely expensive.

"No nuh uh I can't accept this! Who the hell paid for this!" I said shoving the box back into Bucky's hand.

"Sam come on, it's your birthday. Enjoy being spoiled!"

"Tell me who bought it and then I'll decide whether I want it!"

"You can't just decline a gift-"

"Tell me Bucky!"

"Tony bought it."

"That man's got more money than sense." I said rolling my eyes as Bucky put the gift back in my hands.
