*previously know as Winter Warm-ups
You walked down the snow filled sidewalk, with cars passing by on the street next to you. People passed by your strolling figure as they walked down the same path you did, some going the same direction and others leaving past you. You tightened the (f/c) silk scarf around your cold neck, trying to conceal the heat around it as you increased your pace to your designated destination.
It was a chilly, but beautiful, day today. It was winter where you currently resided in, and the glistening, chilly weather recently has been giving you such good moods and vibes. You were happier than usual around this time. Today, you wanted to grab some freshly brewed tea at your favorite beverage shop just down the street where you lives. Even though you could have made tea at home, you loved the way they brewed it at the shop (which was called Rivaille's), so you wanted to come here today. It was late morning - probably ten or eleven - and your boss was generous enough to give you a day off, so you decided to spend it at your favorite coffee shop.
Smiling as you neared the familiar shop, the stainless, clean windows revealing the interior of it. On the right window, it revealed a chalkboard sign from the inside that said "Eggnog special with Christmas sugar cookies! Happy late-Holidays!"
Christmas was a few days ago, so you figured that the shop had to get rid of some left over supplies from the holidays. Ignoring the thought, you entered the shop with no hesitation, and felt the extremely good warmth and heat from the place. Yo took a deep breath to appreciate it, since you were now free from the chilly hands of Jack Frost and his snow minions.
The shop smelled faintly of freshly brewed coffee, along with fresh out-of-the-oven bread and pastries, which were lines up in cases along the registry counter. The walls were painted a light brown, resembling the color of coffee, with white swirls that deported the creamer or milk.
You sat at your regular, two person table by the window, waiting patiently in your seat. You didn't bother to take a look at the menu, since you already knew what you were going to get.
By the counter, a bi colored male with golden hues wore a white apron that covered a part of his black uniform, while he held a small notepad and a pen in the pockets of attire. He stood by the brewing machines, currently making a cappuccino for one of his customers. He was totally unaware of a new one entering the shop, and it took him a rather annoying accomplice to realize it.
"Jean." a male voice caught his attention. He male finished making the drink, before turning around at the male who spoke of his name. This was another employee - Eren - who did the same job as Jean. He had brown, ruffled hair with bright turquoise eyes that perfected his whole look.
"What?" Jean asked, his voice showing a hint of irritation.
"There's a customer who's been waiting for ten minutes to order, what the hell have you been doing?" Eren raised his hands in frustration and curiosity.
"I've been working - what about you, you little shit?"
"Hey, get back to work." their manager shouted at the two bickering males. "Jean, get that customer by the window over there, she's a regular." he called from the back, his steel orbs piercing through Jean's soul.
He rolled his eyes and handed the cappuccino to Eren before pulling out his notepad and pen from his apron pocket. He began to make his way towards then, while Eren stuck out his tongue at the bi colored male before returning to his original duties.
You stared out the window, counting the very few snowflakes that fell from the light grey sky. You were oblivious to the male that stood by your table somewhat nervously. To catch your attention, he coughed, which made you jump in your seat and turn your attention to him.
