*EDIT: 6/29/15 - I've changed the ending from its original one.

-The person playing the piano in the video is non other than BlackChaosVortex on YouTube! She's absolutely talented for playing the piano ONLY by ear, and she also does OST music from other anime as well! Check her out!

The piece is the BGM that was played while Jean discovered Marco's body, and it's initially titled "Marco" with the addition of various letters and numbers, since it's not necessarily a known song from the SnK OST. Or so I think. Lol.

This is the song that Erwin hears you playing when he walks into the library.

Walking down the silent and dark corridor only accompanied by the single light from a candle, you slowly and quietly made your way towards the castle library, turning the stone cold knob in your other hand.

The small creak of the door made you pause in your tracks, but you quickly resided the noise and opened the door fully so you could quickly slip in. You swung the door closed but not fully, since the hinges would make a too loud noise at the impact. No one would be able to hear you anyways - it was about 1am in the morning after all. You made your way across the room, our footsteps made as quiet as you could, and treaded towards the large glass window pane that was in the shape of a semi-circle, the moon outside hanging in the jet black sky, the thousands of stars shining like a million diamonds.

The moonlight shone down into the room, the silhouette of a piano visible in your eyesight. Making your way towards the small bench, you set the candle on top of the piano, the light illuminating the line of white and black keys before you.

Adjusting your seating and cracking your finger and hand knuckles, you slowly, but gracefully, lowered your fingertips onto the silky yet dusty keys before you, the beginning of a familiar piece you had created a while ago quietly filling the room.

Erwin sat there, nothing but a piece of paper in front of him accompanied by a single lit candle on his ebony desk that he called his workspace. No words could describe how tired, exhausted, and frustrated he is right now, regarding how much paperwork he has to complete before going to sleep.

He didn't have to worry, though, because at restless nights like these (despite how tired he was), he was able to sleep soundly by the faint sounds of a piano being played on the distance...

He wasn't sure if he was just hearing things or if someone was actually playing the piano. Even so, they would be awake way past their curfew, since these nights only happened whenever he slept so late.

Maybe it's just me...

He didn't dare ask who would be playing the piano so late at night to his fellow soldiers. Because one, they would question why he would be staying up so late just to do work that he could finish tomorrow. And two, he knew that no one would be so talented so play the piano like that - gracefully and majestically.

So he wanted to find out himself. Simple as that.

All of a sudden, he began to hear the familiar sounds of a piano playing in the distance, though he wasn't ready for bed yet. Now curious and wanted to get away from paperwork for a while, he heaved a refreshing sigh and stood up from his uncomfortable wooden chair, stretching himself due to the lack of movement for the past 3 hours.

He took the candle from his desk by the little tin pan it was set in by the handle and silently made his way to the door, closing it ever so silently before walking down the darkened corridor. The melody began to become louder, as he thought that he was nearing the room it was coming from.
