The distilled silence of the cold and empty bedrooms of yours filled your ears, as you laid in bed doing nothin but staring at the dark ceiling. All you wanted to do was end this night and start tomorrow's day, but you knew that slumber wouldn't pass by so easily for you. Coming from someone who was nearly paranoid and overthought too much about their life, sleep was barely impossible for you to have.

You stared at the ceiling for a few more moments, as the "What Ifs"clouded and scattered through your mind, like a train that wasn't being directed by a conductor. Your head slightly pounded from the amount of added stress and thoughts when you began to think about yet again another topic. Late, sleepless nights like these encouraged and basically switched on the more emotional and thoughtful side of you - after all, you were alone with nothing but your thoughts.

You sighed before reaching over to your nightstand, fanning your hand over the cold, wooded surface, trying to search for your phone. When your hand came in contact with the electronic, you grabbed it and blinked your eyes furiously to adjust to the sudden change in brightness.

After you quickly typed in the pass code, you opened up your messages and began to type away at a familiar person...

You: Marco, are you awake?

You: Sorry if you're sleeping

Marco: Nah, I'm still awake. What's up?

You: Is it okay if I rant rn? You probably don't want to deal with it right now but I just really need to vent...

You: But it's a school night. Won't your parents find out? I don't want you to get in trouble
