Authors note: WARNING: Slight swearing and a short chapter. Trying to update twice in a day. My mom's having surgery tomorrow. So I might not be on here for a while. I'll be taking care of her and doing everything else around the house. Wish my ma luck! :D :D Have a good weekend! (Unedited)

As I tapped my fingers impatiently on my desk, I kept thinking about tonight. I honestly was acting like that Disney movie, High School Musical. Why is it that, when you don't look at the clock, it seems that times moves faster, but when you look at the clock, time moves slower? A minute was only sixty seconds long, but when you would look at it, it feels like the longest minute ever.

"Please read chapter 54, do the 3-5 page essay, and turn it in by Thursday," Our history teacher, Miss London said. She was a good teacher, strict, but good.

The shrill ring from the bell granted me and everyone else's freedom and I grabbed my things and ran.

"Miss Knowles! Slow down this instant," Miss London hollered from the class.

I smiled and continued down to my locker, "Okay. Get your bag, your cell phone, and wait for dad to pick you up." Mumbling to myself became a bad habit and I noticed that I did it more than twice a day. Not to mention the stares a get when I do start to talk to myself.

I almost slammed into my locker but I caught myself with my hands. My hands were shaking and I didn't know whether it was medically or just excitement. I've never felt this way before, the stupid butterflies were in my stomach, and I had a wide smile on my face the entire day.

I finally got into my locker after the third try and grabbed my bag. After stuffing the heavy books into it, I jogged down the hallway and outside. My eyes slowly scanned the area, looking for that bike shinned with cockiness and bad-assery. I looked for my dad and or any of my uncles. But none of them were there. Dad said he'd be here. So where was he?

10 minutes go by, I check my phone and move closer to the street. Maybe he was parked far away. Yeah, that was probably it. The majority of the students already left, all the was left were the "bad boys/girls" and the people who were waiting for their car rides. Alex already left and I can't exactly call him back, that would be kind of awkward. But! He's only ten minutes late so I'm sure he'll come around.

20 minutes go by, I called my dad's cell phone and left a message, "Hey, Dad! Its me, your daughter," I chuckled softly, "um, I don't know if you forgot or something happened, but, uh, you said you'd pick me up from school and since school is over I'm kind of just standing in front of it . . . awkwardly I might add. So, if you could maybe swing by and pick me up that'd be . . . well, that'd be great. K, thanks! Love ya!"

My butt was getting sore from the hard pavement and while checking my phone, again, I sighed. He forgot. That was all that it was. Great, just great. My home wasn't that far away, but I didn't want to walk when I was promised a ride from my own Dad. Was it bad that I felt sad? I mean, it kind of reminded me of being stood up. So I called the next person I could think of without getting into trouble.

"Teller-Morrow, how can I help you?" A bored voice asked through the voice.

Definitely not Gemma. Unless she got surgery to get an Adam's apple and male parts to match, "Uh, hi, um, can I talk to Gemma please?"

"Hold on a second," I heard the phone being put down, the static coming over clearly, "here she is."

"Thanks!" I hate to ask her and take her away from work and I kind of wanted someone to talk too.

"If this is one of the many whores my son took to bed, than listen closely, He is not interested. He already forgotten about you and moved onto Sugar. So be a sweetbutt and find another person to whore around with. In fact, I'm not sure if you can hear but that sound your're hearing is not a sound of a hammer -"
