It was another day at the beach, the sun shining brightly and the waves cool and calm. Aphmau, Aaron and Airis were out on the beach with their husky puppy Celestia, where Aphmau was learning how to train the young pup.
Aphmau threw a tennis ball out onto the beach, hoping that Celestia would go fetch it upon her command.
"Hehe! Fetch, girl." Aphmau commanded, but the pup barked without running off to fetch the ball as told.
"Go. Fetch. THE BALL!" Aphmau said, a little more firm this time, but the pup rubbed her head on Aphmau's leg.
"CELESTIA! I SAID FETCH, NOT LOVE ME!" but the pup didn't listen.
"Celestia... If you don't listen to me, I'll-- Aww! How can I be mad at you?!?!? Aww. You don't have to fetch.. Come here and love me instead!"
Aaron and Airis chuckled at Aphmau loving on Celestia instead of learning to train the pup to obey her commands.
"Aw, boogy woogy-- Uh, what are you two snickering at?!" Aphmau asked noticing their amusing laughter, "I'm working on training her."
"You're not being firm enough." Aaron said, taking Airis off of his shoulders and setting the little girl on the sand.
"Eh? What are you talking about?!" Aphmau asked confused, "Did you not see how stern I was jus- Aww..! Yes, girl, bark bark!"
Aaron and Airis laughed again.
"Aph, I know you love Celestia.. But if you want her to listen... you have to show her who's boss. Right, Airis?"
The little girl nodded in agreement. Though she was able to speak to Celestia with her thoughts, she still learned how to make Celestia listen to her through physical commands. Verbal was still a challenge as per obvious reasons.
"Celestia, come here girl!" Aaron commanded, the puppy following the command and running over to Aaron.
"Stay! Stay... Speak." The puppy did everything Aaron told her to do, sitting, staying and barking.
"Good job, Celestia." Airis spoke mentally.
"Thank you, young master!" Celestia replied.
"Now ready to fetch?" Aaron asked, throwing the tennis ball off into the distance while Aphmau laughed mockingly.
"Hah, good luck! I've been trying all mooooorninggg....!" Aphmau said, but then trailed off when she saw the puppy run off to fetch the ball, "What the--!"
"Good girl, Celestia." Aaron praised.
"How did you manage to do that? Urghh, traitor!" Aphmau growled at Celestia.
"Uhmm, I've been training her for a while. And you just started." Aaron answered, "But- But don't worry. Celestia is still just a pup. If you keep at it, she'll listen to you, too!"
"Ugh... you've always been good with dogs!" Aphmau said.
"Aaron has been good with puppies?" Airis wrote.
"Yeah, ever since high school, Aaron's always been good with dogs."
"That was completely different." Aaron argued, "You can't just--"
Aaron was cut off by the sound of Celestia barking a lot more than before.
"What's wrong, Celestia?" Airis asked.
Aphmau started barking at Celestia, and for some reason, for both Airis and Celestia, they were able to understand her random puppy dialect.
"Uh... Babe, I don't know what the werewolves told you back in college, but 'Dog' isn't actually a language." Aaron said, "I know you're trying to be cute, but--"
