The team rode on the boat to the center island where the cannon was waiting to be used for the Demon Warlock. Airis, sitting at the very front of the boat with the others, locked her eyes on the strange island with a piercing gaze. Everything about this island seemed sinister, almost otherworldly. It was something that she had only felt when she was with Livana, only not dark and cold like this.
Airis kept a tight grip on her mother's hand while the other hand was gripping her staff. She steeled her nerves and doubt just as they reached the docking platform, and yet, despite their expectations, no soldiers were there to meet them with an attack.
"That's... odd." Zane voiced, "Why aren't there GF boats surrounding the island?"
"Hmm, I noticed that too." Lucinda said, "You would think that there would be an army waiting for us."
"They were probably sunk or destroyed when the island was uprooted." Terry replied.
"Let's not question it and be thankful we weren't met with any resistance." Ghost said.
"Ghost is right. The less people we see here, the better chance we have to getting inside, finding Papa and facing the Demon Warlock without any others getting in our way." Airis said.
"Sounds good, but how are we gonna get inside?" Aphmau asked.
"We're going to have to find a way in." Terry said.
"You can leave that part to me." Airis said and tapped the end of her staff on the floor. A bright light engulfed the group and when they were able to see clearly again, they found themselves on the island.

Michael stared at the Relic floating in front of him, the soul of Derek Lycan being transformed into an object of power. He was disappointed in the fact that it wasn't Aaron who turned into a Relic, but he was satisfied enough with a cursed soul.
"Not the Relic I was hoping for, but this will have to do." He sighed.
"Wait, what? Sir, what do you mean?" One of the scientists standing close by asked in pure confusion.
Michael turned to the man and smirked, "This cannon has far greater uses than what you've seen so far. And this Relic here is going to help me obtain the power I need."
He took the Relic in his hands, the vast power from the cursed object flowing through his veins like the cursed blood in his body.
"Rise." He commanded.
~~~~~~
Everyone struggled to stay on their feet as the Cannon shook violently.
"What's going on?" Lucinda wondered aloud.
"The cannon." Airis said, "The Demon must've found a way to fully activate its movements."
"He can't mean to..." Terry gasped, "Everyone hold onto something!"
Before anyone could comprehend what was happening, the entire island, the cannon itself began to rise from the seas and hover in the air overlooking all of Starlight Wonderland.
Aphmau and Airis raced to the edge of the cannon to see what had happened. However, when they looked down, all they saw was the small view of Starlight beneath them.
"We're... We're in the sky." Aphmau gasped in shock.
All of a sudden, Airis felt a cold sensation run down her back. She quickly turned around and spotted someone running towards us, and everyone could tell who it was. The soft shade of her blue hair contrasted with the black uniform she was forced to wear under the Demon's control. Lucinda looked back and saw her oldest and closest friend running towards her with so much cold malice in her eyes that it could've frozen the ocean below.
