It was the morning of a brand new day during the Christmas holiday and Aphmau was currently running throughout the house trying to get everything ready for the party she was going to host that very evening. Even Airis was helping with some of the decorating in the living room, making sure that everything was perfect for the following evening.
"Okay..." Aphmau said as she walked into the dining area, "Everything looks perfect! And I love the paper decorations you did for the table, Airis! They look so cute!"
Airis smiled at her mother and rushed to her side, "Thanks, Mama."
"Babe, are you sure you wanna go through this Christmas party for everyone?" Aaron asked as he came into the living room with a questioning expression on his face, "You've already done so much for me and my family..."
Aphmau laughed, "Nonsense. There's still more to do!"
"Aren't you tired, Aph?"
"HAHA! Nope! I'm pumped with HOLIDAY MAGIC!"
"What does that mean?"
"IT MEANS I'VE HAD SIX CUPS OF COFFEE AND I DON'T KNOW WHEN TO STOP!!" Aph said with a small cry.
"Oh, uhhh... I thought you didn't like coffee."
"HA I LOVE COFFEE! I JUST NEED LIKE SIX PACKS OF SUGAR IN IT BEFORE I ACTUALLY CONSUME IT!"
"Oh boy, I see that we're going to be in for quite a day." Aaron sighed, "Hold on, Airis, did you take a sip of Aph's coffee?"
Airis, thankfully, shook her head, "Nope! When I saw Mama put in the third packet of sugar, I didn't take a sip."
"That's good." Aaron sighed.
"Aaron, I'm fine! I'm just more productive this way!" Aphmau assured.
"You stayed up most of the night making sweaters. Are you sure you're gonna be okay?"
"I'm fine, I'm fine!" Aphmau looked around the house, "Now let's see... What else do you thing is needed to make this JUST PERFECT?!"
"Hmmm..." Aaron hummed as he looked around the room, "Well, we have uhh... Tinsel, lights, gingerbread house, tree, umm... are we missing anything else?"
"Hmm... Nothing really..." Aphmau answered, "Can you think of anything Airis?"
Airis looked around and saw the small hook that was perched over the door for one specific reason. She smiled and looked up at her mother, knowing that her face was going to turn bright red when she brought it up.
"The Mistletoe?" Airis teased, and just as she thought, Aphmau's face turned a bright shade of red.
"Airis!" Aphmau shouted as she blushed wildly.
"She's got a point, Aph. What's Christmas without a little bit of mistletoe?" Aaron asked, completely agreeing with his daughter.
"Do we really need that? Heheheh" Aphmau asked with nervous chuckles.
"Well, if you're sure." Aaron said.
After thinking for a moment, Aphmau began to give in, "Well, it might be funny, haha! Go ahead."
"I think YOU should do it." Aaron suggested while Aphmau scoffed at the idea.
"Are you kidding me?" She said, "Have you seen how short I am?"
"Eheheh, I get it. But last time, Airis and I put it up..."
Aphmau remembered last year's Christmas party, where Aaron helped Airis put up the Mistletoe.

Airis held Aphmau's mistletoe in her hands as Aaron stepped over Garroth and Laurance, who were lying on the floor after crashing into each other. Airis turned around and saw Aaron smiling at her.
