The sky was bright and beautiful, clear with hardly any signs of dreaming clouds to rouse the beauty even more on this fine day. The air was warm and the breeze was gentle, allowing the rest of the summer season to blow away with the green leaves. However, there were only a few who could say that they couldn't enjoy the wonders and peacefulness of the summer day.
No, they flew high above the clouds in a private jet owned by a well known company famous for movies and making dreams a reality. On this jet, five people rode inside in comfort and security, but all were both excited and nervous about returning to their normal lives. After all, even if they tried with all their might to forget about their time on the island, nothing would ever be the same for the small family and group of friends.
It had been several weeks since the incident at Starlight Wonderland. Several weeks since the Ultima was rumored to be hiding on the island and created a complete lockdown. Several weeks since the supposed 'death' of the Ultima.
Several weeks since a little seven-year-old child saved the entire world alongside her family and friends. And lost nearly everything to save them in the process. Yes, the entire world had been saved by a small child endowed with the power and magic of one of the most powerful goddesses in existence.
The great Mage Airis Aine Lycancias, soon to be Airis Aine Lycan once her mom and dad were married later on. Inside the private jet, these five people were surrounded by comfort, from the delicious food to the comfy chairs that unfolded into beds, but they weren't focused on the comforts. No, they were focused on the excitement they would find back home on Mystreet.
A young man sat across from a young woman with such love in his eyes that it could be compared to the brightness of the dawning sky. His dark eyes stared at her with warmth and love, a feeling that would never fade so long as he lived and continue even after his life would come to an end. His dark hair was perfectly combed and brushed, matching the black jacket he wore over a white shirt with his family's crest embroidered on the front right breast pocket and red sleeves. He fiddled with the small rips and tears on his jeans as he stared at his bride-to-be.
The woman sitting in front of him kept her honey-gold eyes on the window looking out at the quickly passing sky. Her black hair was pulled back and tied into a high ponytail, allowing for her purple studded ears to be shown. She wore a white shirt with a heart-shaped cut hole in the center near her chest, covered with a purple jacket lined with white faux fur around the hood. Her legs were crossed and she sat her chin on the palm of her hand as she continued to stare at the window, her mind swimming with thought after thought.
"Aph?" Aaron called out to her, her body jumping after hearing his voice.
"Huh?" She replied and looked at him, "What is it, Aaron?"
"Are you all right? You've been pretty quiet for a while now."
Aphmau smiled, "Yeah, I'm okay, but lost in thought."
"You wanna talk about it?" Aaron asked, patting the seat next to him so that they could talk about her thoughts.
Aphmau nodded and stood up, taking the offered seat and snuggling with Aaron's arm around her shoulders.
"So, what were you thinking about? Not that I mind watching you think, you look really cute trying to sort your thoughts." Aaron chuckled.
"Oh hush up." Aphmau chuckled along with him, "I was just thinking about what we should do first when we get home. Should we have a party? Should we celebrate quietly with the others? And what about the house? It's gotta be dirty. Not to mention the café, there's gotta be a lot to do when we get back."
"Aph, you're thinking about things that don't matter right now." Aaron said, "Besides, I doubt that everyone would leave us alone for at least the first week of us coming home. I'm gonna bet that Zane's going crazy preparing a big party for us and taking control of all the decorations. Not to mention our parents are probably deciding on what foods to serve, what we can do when we get back and everything in-between. All we have to do is have as much fun as we can as a family."
