The boardwalk was dark, the shadows of night cloaking every nook and cranny of the streets. The only light shining was that of the moon, and the glint of the cursed sword that shone from the glow of the streetlamps.

The guests of the resort were finally being let off the island, but they had to take a specific path to get out. Just as the Demon had planned. They were terrified, confused, and anxious to finally leave, but there was one more surprise for them to see before leaving this nightmare behind.

"Listen up." One of the GF said from the top of the entrance beams, "I know that you all want to leave. In a minute, we will open the gates and allow everyone out to the boats. Everyone needs to remain calm and move in an orderly fashion."

Another GF turned to his comrade with a worried expression hidden behind his helmet.

"What do we do when they get there?" He asked, "There aren't anymore boats."

"Doesn't matter." The first soldier answered, "They won't get there. We're opening the gates. Begin moving slowly."

Finally, are several days of waiting for an escape, the gates opened and the people were allowed to move forward.

"Sir, we've just opened the gates." The GF spoke into his radio, "Your witnesses are moving into position."

"Perfect." Michael said, "Make sure no one splits from the group. I don't want anyone wandering around until after he's captured."

"Yes, sir. We will guide them to the rendezvous point. Over and out."

In another part of the island near the main boardwalk path, Michael, now possessing the body of Travis Valkrum, stood at the very edge of the pier. The Demon was ready to take the final steps towards his plan, and now with the Goddess out of the way, he was certain that nothing would stop him from completing his evil intentions.

He laughed and turned to Katelyn, who stood by the shore on the beach.

"Come here." He called out and Katelyn followed without hesitation.

"Yes sir." She answered him, her eyes glowing bright Emerald Green to show that she was under his control.

In his mindscape, Travis stared at his evil side, the Demon that controlled his father for decades. And the only thing standing between him and the safety of the woman he loved most in this world.

"Travis, Travis, Travis. It's been so long since I've switched bodies again." Michael said stroking Katelyn's cheek lovingly.

"Travis, you are so much easier to get to than your father. He didn't have anyone he cared about when I took over." He approached Travis with a smirk on his lips, "Do you actually like her? Love her? Or did you just want to use her?"

Travis growled and cried at this Demon, not sure what to do in this situation. He wanted to fight him off, but would happen to Katelyn? Would the Demon hurt her? Would he even kill her?

"We are going to have so much fun together. Don't you wanna have fun with her?"

"I wanna have fun." Katelyn said happily.

"Of course you do. So much strength." Michael looked her up and down, "And so pretty. Katelyn, your father never knew what we did to you."

He turned back to Travis, "Is she all you care about? What about your friends? That sweet little girl you call Airis? Don't you want to know what happened to them?"
