Chapter 19

I sat in the Slytherin compartment next to Draco as he droned on about how this was his last year at Hogwarts. Lately Draco and Severus were distant and it honestly frightened me.

I sat in my room on the couch while Gracey rubbed my feet for some strange reason. "So you think that there is some consperacy and Draco and ypur hubby are keeping you out of the loop?" She asked. I nodded and took a sip of my water. "Its the only reason I can think of. There's something off, I can feel it in my bones." I said. "Well, maybe your bones could tell you to lay off the fish." She teased. I threw a pillow at her causing her to laugh. "So Slugclub..." She said. I groaned. "I almost forgot! Wanna come?" I asked. She snickered. "Hells yes!" She mimicked a teenage girl. I laughed. "Your such a drama queen." I teased. She winked at me.

It was christmas and I was running late to the party Slughorn was hosting. I stopped when I heard hushed voices. "I was chosen for this. Me!" I recognized the voice as Draco's whisper furiously. "I swore to protect you, I made the unbreakable vow!" My blood ran cold as I recognized it as Severus' voice. I walked around the corner and saw Severus had Draco pinned against the wall. "This is my moment!" Draco snarled. I felt my stomach sink. What was going on. All I could do was stare at them. Severus noticed I was standing there. He let Draco go. He turned to me as Draco ran off. "Erika, I-" I raised my hand. "You have been distant, you barely touch me anymore let alone speak to me, you are secretive, and you've been looming over Draco like a mother hen. I have been patient with you, Severus," I said walked to him and standing just a foot away. "But I need to know whats going on now, as your wife I deserve that much." I said looking at him seriously. He moved forward to touch me but I took a step back. "Why did you take an unbreakable vow?" I asked as tears glisened in my eyes. He looked away. "It has nothing to do with you." He said harshly. I stepped forward and grabbed his chin gently, turning his face towards me. "Answer me, Severus." I said. He looked in my eyes. He said nothing. I shook my head and scoffed as I walked off.

I stood outside the burrow as I glared at the field. I gripped my wand. "So he took a vow that could kill him if he doesn't complete his task and he won't tell you what? Thats messed up." Gracey said. "Exactly! And then he turns around and won't even celebrate Christmas with me!" I said bitterly. She whistled. "Thats cold." She commented. I was about to say something when she shushed me. I saw a rustle in the field. A ball of black smoke headed toward the burrow. "What the hell is-" I stopped as fire hit the growned and circled the burrow but we were outside it. Bellatrix appeared. I ran at her as she turned and ran threw the field. I chased her as Gracey followed closely behind me. We got to a clearing and we waited a couple of agonizingly quiet minutes. Suddenly spells were thrown at us. I deflected them as Gracey tried planting doubt in their minds. Arthur, Remus, Tonks, Ginny, and Harry appeared. The Death Eaters disappearee and suddenly there was an explosion coming from the house. "Molly!" Arthur shouted before we all took off running back to the house. It was on fire so I stepped forward. I raised my hands and slowly closed them as the fire went out. I put my hands on my knees as I breathed deeply. I fell on my butt as I held my head in my hands. I stood suddenly. I waved my wand and I was standing in a black bikini and a black silk bikini wrap with matching sandels. "I can't handel this shit, anymore." I hissed as they looked at me funny. I summoned my coin purse and Gracey looked excited. I put her in a white bikini and matching sandels. "Rio here we come!" She cheered. She took my hand and I apperated us into an ally by the beach in Rio.

Gracey cheered and ran to the water, jumping in and generally looking like a little kid. I made sunglasses appear and I put them on. I made my coin purse into a white shoulder purse and put my wand in there to. I walked onto the beach and sat down on a laid back beach chair. I smiled as I laid back and soaked up the warm sun. Gracey came over and sat down in a beach chair beside me. We sat there for 20 minutes. I sat up. "What would you like to do now?" I asked. She grinned. "Oh I think you know what we need to do next." She said. I grinned back. We ran to the ally and I put her in a tight red speggetii strap dress that dipped low in the neck line to reveal just enough cleavage. It ended mid thigh to show off her legs and I put her in red wedged heels. I had on a strapless black gown that ended mid thigh. It faned out when I twirled and I had on black flats.
