Ch. 13 I hope the Welcoming Ceremony will go well

At Beast's Castle, Ben runs around in his bedroom, getting himself ready to go to Auradon Prep. He looked frantic for many reasons.

The first is that Ben has to meet up with Fairy Godmother at Auradon Prep since she is the school's Headmistress. Second, he needs to round up the Student Council members. And third, he needs to ensure that the Welcoming ceremony is ready since he, the Crown Prince and Student Council President, needs to welcome the Vks to Auradon Prep.

Ben soon finished getting ready, and his green eyes blinked when he hears a ringing sound coming from behind him. He turns around, seeing his cell phone ringing from his night desk. He walks towards his cell phone, unplugs it from its charger, and puts it against his cell phone.

" Hey, Andy!" Ben smiled widely.

" Hey, Benny. Need a lift, or are you going to be a Preppy and used a limo?" Andy amusingly asked.

Ben glanced at the grandfather clock in his bedroom, and he lightly bites his lips when he realized what time it is.

" Well. You are the only student in our school that has a car. And the fastest driver at that. And I need to get to school before the Vks come since I need to welcome them," Ben mumbled.

" You finally convinced your folks to agree with your proclamation?" Andy curiously asked, being the only person to understand Ben's mumbling.

" They did not know about it until I told them about it today. And Dad did not take it well, but Mom convinced Dad to let the Vks live and study at Auradon. Then again, I sent out the invitations yesterday, and they should be here soon," Ben babbled.

" Sneaky. Sneaky Benny," Andy cackled.

A slight blush appears on Ben's cheeks.

" So, where are you right now?" Ben asked.

A honking sound grabbed Ben's attention, which lets him know that Andy is outside his home.

" Ah! Will be out soon," Ben responded, and he hangs up.

Ben puts his cell phone away in his right pant pocket. He then grabs his backpack, takes his phone charger, and throws it in his bag. He looked at his surroundings one last time to make sure he has everything.

Once Ben knows he has everything, he runs out of his bedroom to meet up with Andy.

" Good morning, Your Highness," Several servants formally greet and bows at Ben when they spotted him running through the many halls of Beast's Castle.

" Good morning! Good morning! Good morning!" Ben happily and quickly greets the passing servants since he has to meet up with Andy.

Several minutes later, Ben reached the Castle's entrance. He looks forward and softly smiled when he sees his childhood best friend, Andy, a fifteen-year-old 5'7" short-length slick dark brown hair and bright blue eyes, wearing the same school uniform as Ben, sitting in a blue 1968 Dodge Charger.
