In the bathroom, Liam silently stood underneath the shower, feeling chilly water all over his body. He has gotten used to the cold temperature of the bathroom shower since the Isle of the Lost doesn't have hot showers.
A knocking sound grabs Liam's attention, and he leans to the right as he peaks through the curtain, seeing his father, Gaston, opening the door slightly and leaning against the doorframe.
" Liam. It's me, your father," Gaston calls out.
" Hey, Dad," Liam akwardly greets, still feeling uncomfortable since he nearly died in his sleep.
" I am so sorry," Gaston apologize while sadly staring at the wooden floor.
Liam looks away from Gaston as he continues to take a shower. He grabs a peppermint Shampoo that Claudette bought at Lady Tremaine's Curl Up & Dye.
Liam pours some of the peppermint Shampoo onto his hands and begins to scrub his short-length shaggy hazelnut hair. All his life, he only uses the Shampoo that he shares with his father and brothers, which has a musky forest-like smell. He rarely uses his mother's Shampoo, thinking it is too feminine, but after much thought and soon going to Auradon, he believed it is best to at least smell lovely.
" Dad. As I told Mum, what happened to me was not your fault," Liam reassures Gaston.
Gaston fondly smiled as he sadly sighed.
" You are so much like your mother. Forgiving and kind. You should at least try to get angry. It can help save your life," Gaston mumbled, sounding concerned.
Liam rinsed the peppermint Shampoo off of his hair as he silently stares at the marble floor.
" I don't want blood on my hands," Liam nervously responded.
Gaston glanced at the curtain where his third son is taking a shower behind it.
" I-I nearly killed someone who made Gil cry," Liam confessed, feeling glad that the shower water is masking his tears.
Gaston sadly stared at the curtain, thinking that living in Auradon would be suitable for Liam since he has a kind heart and soul, unlike the other children of the Isles.
" You were only defending your brother. It is natural for you to get angry if you saw someone hurting your brother," Gaston reassures Liam.
Liam grabs Claudette's Vanilla Conditioner, pours it on his hands, and begins to scrub his short-length shaggy hazelnut hair.
" Dad," Liam calls out.
" Yes?" Gaston responded.
" I love you," Liam fondly smiled, and he could imagine Gaston looking shocked but also secretly happy that someone besides his wife, Claudette, loves him.
" I love you too," Gaston softly responded.
Liam turns the shower off as he pushed his hand out of the curtain and held it to Gaston. He soon caught something soft and pulled it back to him. He wraps the towel around his body as he pushed the curtains to the side, and he carefully steps out of the shower.
" Go get dress. Your mother must have started making breakfast," Gaston gently pats Liam's back as the two males step out of the bathroom and onto the hallway.
Liam glanced at the stairs, which lead to the first floor of their home.
" Will Gas and Ton eat?" Liam softly asked, sounding concerned, remembering that some Isles parents starve their children if they do something horrible.
" Of course, they are going to eat. What are we? Heartless?" Gaston asked with a raised eyebrow.
Liam blushes, looking embarrassed.
" Look. I may be a self-centered jerk in many people's eyes. But, I care about my family," Gaston ruffled Liam's wet short-length shaggy hazelnut hair.
" And besides, the inhabitants in this Isle have done way more dangerous and crazier stuff than me. I only fought against the Beast because I thought that saving Belle from it would make her fall for me. But, it turns out that she choose the Beast over me. However, I am glad that your mother, Claudette, found me nearly dead, cared for me for many months, and saved my life. And that is how I have you and your brothers in my life," Gaston happily smiled.
Liam softly smiled, happy to hear how his older brothers, himself, and younger brother came to be in their parent's life.
" And I am smelling bacon. So, I suggest you get dressed quickly before all that bacon is gone," Gaston gently pats Liam's back as he jogs down the stairs.
Liam amusingly chuckled as he looked away and entered his bedroom, which he shares with his younger brother, Gil. His blue eyes blinked when he sees Gil sitting on the window frame and looking at the scenery in front of him. He silently stared at the view, and he immediately noticed a Castle in the distance.
Liam hummed as he begins to recall the dream where he saw a boy that looked to be his age kindly smiling at him. His blue eyes intently stared at the Castle as he begins to wonder how the other male know his name.
Across the tiny island of Isle of the Lost is a massive land, the United States of Auradon, the home of many heroes and their families.
Far away from Auradon is a grand castle, called the Beast Castle, the home of King Adam Beast, Queen Belle Beast, their only son, fifteen-year-old Crown Prince Benjamin 'Ben' Beast, and their loyal servants.
Inside the grand Castle in a bedroom, Ben stared at Isle of the Lost with excitement mixed with concern. He had a dream, or rather a vision of Liam, living at Auradon with him. But, what scared him is seeing Liam getting choked and disappearing.
A knock on the door grabbed Ben's attention, and he looks away, seeing the door opened, revealing two of his parent's loyal servants and dear friends, Lumiere and Cogsworth.
" Good morning, Lumiere and Cogsworth," Ben kindly greets the two older gentlemen.
" Good morning, Your Highness," Cogsworth formally greets Ben.
" Good morning, Young Benjamin," Lumiere fondly greets Ben.
Cogsworth elbowed Lumiere, causing the two to glare at each other.
Ben amusingly chuckled at Cogsworth and Lumiere's childish antics.
" Pardon our behavior, Your Highness," Cogsworth turns his attention to Ben.
" But the Ki-," Cogsworth gets cut off by Lumiere.
" Your folks request your presence at the main dining room. Today is a special day from what I heard," Lumiere winks.
Ben nods his head in response as he brightly smiled, walking out of his bedroom with Cogsworth and Lumiere following behind him.
