Chapter 24:

Emilee's POV:

I woke up on the couch, I must of fell asleep after I got in from the hospital. I look down to see Luke and Calum sitting cross legged on the floor playing GTA V. I say up and out stretched my arms and groaned.

"Hello sleepy head" Calum says, with his eyes still fixed to the TV.

"Well hi there princess" Luke says leaning his head back, I lean down and peck his soft lips, his lip ring cold against my skin.

"What time is it? And Luke where were you Cal told me you went out" I asked.

"It's 1:42 am, and I had to get you something check the kitchen counter" Luke said. I get up and look at him confused he just smiled and wriggled his eyebrows. I walk into the kitchen to see a stuffed bear up on the table with a bag in front of him. I smile at it then walk over and pick up both items and head back to my seat in the living room. The game paused when I sat back down. I looked at Luke and he just gestured me to look in the bag. I open the bag and pull out a black Nike hoodie.

"Another Nike hoodie?" Calum asked chuckling a little.

"She digs Nike man, I'm a good boyfriend" Luke replies, I giggle and pull Luke into my arms and hold him tight and whisper a soft "thankyou" into his ear.

"You going to tell me what this is all about?" My voice said, muffled a bit as I am pulling on my new hoodie at the same time.

"You have been under a lot of stress lately, I just wanted to treat you" Luke says smiling madly. I roll my eyes at him and kiss his whole face.

"Thank you Luke but you could if treated yourself" I said in his shoulder.

"I know but you deserved it" he said. i snuggles into his chest even more. Then I hear a soft snore, I look over to see Calum resting his head on the sofa sleeping. What a cute little puppy. I look up at Luke and his eyes are shut too. Did they stay awake for me? I then remember something, the funeral is today. I sighed into Lukes chest. I can't believe this is actually happening. I feel a hot tear run down my face I quickly wipe it away so I wouldn't bring on my pounding head as I get a head ache when I cry.

I begin to get uncomfortable so I get up causing Luke two awake and Calum. I tell them we should go to the bedroom and back to our beds as none of us we that comfy, I picked up my teddy bear. As Luke took my hand and began to lead me upstairs. I feel Calums hand trail up my back and then he soothing rubs his thumb against the bottom of my neck. what is he doing? I brush it off as nothing. Once we get in bed I snuggle down into a ball.

"Goodnight" Luke whispers, I repeat his actions. I fell asleep dreading the morning to come.

I fluttered my eyes open to Luke and Calum leaning over me.

"What are you losers doing?" I asked groggily.

"It's time to get ready, funeral starts in an hour..." Calum trails off. I nod and then get up. I decide to shower quickly. Once I'm done I dry my hair and leave it down. I pull on a black skater dress, all black converse and a black denim jacket. Not much but I guess it will do. I apply little make up just foundation and mascara. Grace is going to Liz as she is to young for this.

I head downstairs to join Luke and Cal. Liz picked up Grace earlier, I must of slept in longer than I thought I did. I had my little speech thing, I didn't want to read it out I was to scared and upset to. This day will end in tears. But I still remember my idea and I just hope it will work. I get compliments from both boys but I wasn't in the mood none of really were. Ashton was picking us up with Ellie. and I'll see Morgan there at the church.
