Chapter 7:

Emilee's POV:
----1 month later----
"Oh goodie chemo has come back to bite me in the ass" I groan to myself an peel my body off of the bed covers. I try not to wake luke. he is sound asleep next to me still his soft snore filling the room. I trudge into the bath room and step into the shower.

"Ugh bloody hell" I whine dreading the day to come. chemo just brings me down dude like woah. Once I'm done I step out and wash my face.

I creep out trying not to disturb luke. I dry my hair and then throw it up ok a messy bun I pull on black leggings a white vans top and black vans. I grab my phone and put it in my leather backpack.

I then silently creep out the house ready for my boring ass chemo.

"Miss O'Connor for chemo with mrs martindale" I say gently to the ginger receptionist with 10 feet of makeup cakes ok her face.
"Gross" I whisper under my breath as I turn away and sit down on the plastic chairs.
I waited for about 10 minutes and was starting to get a head ache. I wanted to fall asleep and when I almost did I almost fell off the chair.
I earned a few stares but shrugged them off.

"Uh miss O'Connor?" Asked the nurse martindale. I groaned but smiled at her she just sneered at me.

"Follow me" she said in a rude tone. I trudged behind her. I wanted to fall through the floor I really didn't wanna do this retched day.

"In here" she said again in a rude tone.

"Rude bitch" I mumbled under my breath and then say down in the chair.

After about half an hour of talking and signing of paper work they told me I needed an x ray.

"What the hell why?" I said confused last time the other nurse said I was fine.

"Because you do! Now get in That x ray room!" She practically shouted at me. We walked out te small room and down the hall towards the x ray room.

Once I say down having my x ray taken I was thinking about my life. it was weird...how I went from such a healthy human being to one with a tumour it scared me.

"Ok your done you can come out now" said nurse martindale.

"So?" I asked anxiously.

"Oh my...um well..." Said the nurse I suddenly began to get sweaty and my stomach was in knots.

"It appears your tumour has um well..." she says breathing heavily.

"What! What has happened" I say clenching the arms of the chair.

"It ha grown...bigger than it was before" she says. I get up and run out of the room. I begin to cry. Once I'm out of the hospital I run to the nearest shop.
I call luke.
L: hello?
E: Luke don't pick me up I'll get a taxi
L: what why?
E: don't worry
L:but
E: LUKE JUST DONT!
I shout down the phone and then end the call.
"Ugh crap" I say and stuff my phone in my bag. I wanted to be alone right now and for some reason something came over me.
"I'm gonna die, I am aren't i? Ugh you know what emilee your a wimp" I say and barge my way through the shop picking up cigarettes and a bottle of vodka.

"Woah there little lady" says the cashier  looking at me weirdly. I literally didn't care what I looked like or what PEOPEL thought I wanted to let loose.

"Shut up old man" I shout at him this is not me what's happening?

Once he passes me the stuff I hurry out and rush I the park. I get there and sit on the swing. I start to contemplate on what to do. I keep looking at the alcohol and cigarette and try to kick them away.

"Stuff it" I say and grab the cigarette pack I light it with my lighter an stick in between my teeth. I inhale the smoke and I feel all my worries melt away. I then take the cap off the vodka and fake a massive gulp of it and another, and another!

"Woah aha" I chuckle to myself. I get up off the swing and stumble around. I inhale more smoke and blow smoke rings and giggle drunkily at them I take ANOTER swig of vodka.

"Wha am I doing?" I ask myself. one half is saying I'm a wimp come on leg loos your gonna die anyways mad the other is saying stop you have. A family who love and care about you.

"I know what I'm doing" I say to my self falling to the ground I shut my eyes.

"I'm dying"
