Chapter 28:

Lukes POV:

I was mending, I was finding myself again, she was finally back in my arms and that's all I wanted. today the gang was moving from Brisbane right the way across over to Darwin. It was a two day trip to get there but we decided that we would be touring the whole of Aus. So we were gonna be longer than just the weekend. I was very very excited. Normally me and the boys are busy with stuff, and we have all been down about michael. DONT even go there luke. So hopefully this should all connect us together we have lost a couple people but it's okay, we're all bestfriends we can handle it.

I'm sharing a tent with Emilee and Calum, I didn't mind though it was cosy. We all woke up to an early start as we wanted to be in Darwin by late Tuesday night early Wednesday morning, it's Monday morning now and it's 3am. I shook Emilee awake. I removed the blonde strands of hair from her face and kissed her nose.

"Get up sleepy head were getting ready to go" I say against her skin. She giggles as my breath tickles her slightly.

"Help me up then dork please" she said, I gently push my arm underneath her and lift up her top half so she sits up, she smiles and boops my nose. I stare at her beauty. She kisses my lips and then smiles.

"Come on, we've got a road trip to begin" she said and we climbed out the tent, it was still dark, Troye and Morgan were loading the coolers into the back of the campovan , and Emilee and Ellie were folding up all the duvets and blankets and pillows and all that while me Calum a and Ashton were taking the tents down.

"It's good to have you back man I missed you" Cal said , I gave him a bro hug.

"Yeah same I missed Lashton" Ash said pouting, we all laugh and pack away the tents.

"Guys guys! I have the perfect idea, luke get out your Polaroid and set it to a timer" Ashton says jumping up and down excitedly we all look at him weirdly, but I still go get my camera and set it To a time of ten seconds.

"Okay great! Now everyone quick, luke press the shutter button to activate the timer everyone once it's done pose!" Ash continues, I press the shutter button and we all get together in a group, Ellie on ashtons back, troye and Morgan have their hands intertwines and our holding them above their head, Cal on the floor smiling and holding up the peace sign, so I choose my place behind Emilee, I wrap my arms around her waist and kiss her temple and she giggles, we hear the camera take the picture and the flash goes off and we all run up to take a look.

Ellie takes the Polaroid picture and stares at it as it began to appear.

"I think I might cry that pic is so perfect!" She squeals excitedly, we all crowd round her to stare at the picture aswell, it truly was a perfect picture, it had everything I care about in it and that's what made me the happiest.

"Here" Calum says, Ellie passes him the Polaroid picture , he scribbles under it it said "Brisbane memories <3" we all laugh, it was now 3:20am and ash said we should be going if we want to get to Darwin by Wednesday. Emilee took the. Picture and placed it in her bag. I pulled her back and snapped a pic with my phone (picture on first page of chapter). We then climb into the campovan.

"Let's get this show on the road girl!" Troye shouts and we all laugh.

Emilee's POV:

We had been driving for three hours now, we were driving along the coastline, we could see the sun slowly rising above the horizon. Ashton had made the van proper hipster, it was really cool to be honest, the whole back bit was a bed and the seats at the front turned into a bed too, ELLIE ashton Troye and Morgan shared that as it was the biggest while me cal and luke shared the back one, we had the tents too if we decided to camp out though, we had the big soft duvets and blankets, Ash also hung up dream catchers and bunting and there were curtains on the windows aswell, it was all very cute.
