Chapter 2:

Authors note----> I am so glad I'm back to writing stories again through out the past week it had been tough, and I wanted to write but I was still planning out the story lmao anyway I'm glad I'm back writing enjoy x

Lukes POV:
I storm out the bedroom with tears beginning to tumble down my face. I hate seeing her like this, I hate it. she stays in there all the time, she thinks there is no point in worrying about her, there's every point though! I love her, can she see that?
"Daddy?" Grace says looking up from her toys. I stop dead in my tracks thinking of what to say to my confused daughter.
"Where are you going?" She says getting up and tugging on my t shirt.
"Um I'm just going out for a...a...walk, I need some air" I say trying to sound convincing. she smiles and kisses my hand.
"Ok daddy, and don't cry I like it when you smile"she gently says and skips off to where Emilee is. I wipe my tears and walk out the door.
Emilees POV:
I trudged downstairs with Grace an hour after Luke left. Grace ran off to go play in the play room while I just sat in the kitchen. I wouldn't eat, I wouldn't drink nothing.
"Come on Emilee get a grip" I say to myself harshly. I p decided it was enough and that I was going to stop my non eating non drinking routine. I decided to eat an apple. God it felt good to eat something.
I'm going to try and change, tomorrow I have chemo again I'll come back new and fresh and show Luke that I'm thankful for everything he's doing for me because right now I'm being a stuck up bitch, there is no excuse not even having a tumour is one.
I go into the play room to go find Grace.
"Grace?" I say looking round.
"Grace?" I say again still no response. I then hear giggling. oh ok, so be it.
"I'm going to get you Grace Emilee Hemmings" I say creeping around the playroom. I pull back the pink curtain to find Grace giggling away.
"You found me!" She says pointing at me. I lift her up into my arms.
"Come on I think we should see someone today don't you?" I say smiling.
"Who?" She asks confused.
"What aboooooout" I say carrying the word.
"ASHLEY!" I say louder than expected.
"Yes yes yes!" She says excitedly clapping her hands. I put her down and grab my phone. I haven't used this in months, I hesitantly scroll through my contacts until I see "Ellie <3" I take a deep breath and press call.
Ellies POV:
Life had sucked for a while, I had no contact from my Bestfriend and it sucked right up until now. I looked at my phone as it was ringing and saw that it was Emilee calling me. I answered it in no time.
Ellie: Emilee? Hey!
Emilee: hey! I'm so sorry about everything! About shutting you out the lot I miss you all!
Ellie: I miss you to its ok! I would probably be the same to
Emilee: can you come over like now?
Ellie: of course! On our way
Emilee: cool I love you bye
Ellie: I love you to bye
I put the phone down and rush into the lounge where ashton and Ashley were playing.
"Ashton,ashley come on now!" I say grabbing the keys and my black vans bag.
"Wait woah babe what's wrong" ashton said wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Emilee wants us to come over" I simply say.
"Really?! Oh my god lets go!!" Ashton says enthusiastically.
"Ashley come on now! We're going to go see Grace!" I shout immediately he's in the room and begging his dad to pick him up.
"Let's go!" I say and we all head out to the car.
Emilees POV:
"Ellie!" I shout as she walks into the house followed by ashton and little Ashley.
"Emilee!" She shouts back and we hug tightly.
"I missed you so much" I say into her neck.
"Sh honey it's ok" she says. I then meet ashton he's smiling uncontrollably and so am I, my life is clicking back together a little.
"Ash" I breathe. he pulls me into a tight hug.
"Don't ever do that again ok?!" He practically shouts making me laugh.
"I promise" I say.
I grab everyone a drink and sigh a sigh of relief. And then the door bursts open and in walks lap confused Luke.
"You can do this" I hear Ellie whisper in my ear. I smile at him and he smiles back.
"Luke" I breathe.
"Emilee" he says back.
I literally jump into his open arms, it's like we hadn't seen eachother in years, he was a bit confused but still hugged back.
"I'm so so so sorry I shut you out I'll never ever do it again" I scream kissing his face.
"I love you so much and I'm so sorry" I add.
"It's ok baby girl I love you so much to" he says hugging me so tight so there is no space in between us. Finally, I'm actually smiling.
