Chapter 36:

Emilee POV:

I sat up and stretched I checked the time on my clock, it was only five past five in the morning, jeez I woke up early we don't even need to leave till like 8. I climbed off the bed as quietly as I could and began to get dressed, I pulled on acid was jeans and a white lace croptop, I throw my hair up in a messy bun and then complete it with white converse and mascara.

I decide to just sit outside and maybe I can drift off to sleep again, but I was wide awake, I grabbed my phone and Hopped outside, it was light, but not that light but you could see the sun slowly rising up from the horizon, there was a hot breeze this morning, so I went and sat down on the lawn for a while.

I opened my phone to see that Liz sent me a video of her and Grace last night but. Forgot to look at it. I opened the message and clicked play on the video.

"Hey mummy I miss you" Grace says through the phone, I instantly smile.

"She will be back in about two days Gracey are you excited to see mummy and daddy?" She asks and Grace squeezes her face and nods she then scurries off and Liz is left with the camera.

"Luke has told everyone about the doctors, I hope your okay Emilee I'll see you in two days so I can see you one last time, I love you, bye" She says shakily and then the video ends. I close the message and lock my phone. I sigh, but I don't cry.

Suddenly I feel a presence behind meI turn to look at the face who sat down next to me, it was Luke.

"Hi weirdo" He says making me giggle and smack him playfully.

"Hi loser" I say, he then starts tickling me and I squirm but he holds me down, I carry on squirming and wiggling and laughing, but then I quickly escape and then begin running round with Luke quickly behind me.

"Get lost Luke!" I whisper shout but I don't think he could hear me, I have a break thinking I'd lost him. I sigh in relief but then suddenly Luke picks me up and throws me over his shoulder making me laugh harder. He pretends to bite my hip and I laugh even more.

"Okay you got me" I say and he puts his other hand on his hip and does a superman pose.

"Oh my god thankyou superman!" I say in a girly voice, he laughs and puts me down.

"Your my hero" I say again in a girly voice. He laughs and pulls me in for a hug.

"Morning!" Ashton says running up to us and joining in the group hug, then Calum runs out sayings one thing that he's hungry and joins then ellie, the Troye and Morgan and then suddenly we all fall on the floor on top of eachother laughing and giggling away.

"Sorry if we woke you" I said but they all shrugged it off.

"Hey maybe we should get going to Canberra now it will take six hours and it's half five now so we would get there at about half eleven so we will still have the whole day to explore than drive" Morgan says and we all agree, Luke says he will drive the six hours and we will stop half way for food and stuff.

We pack up all the stuff and then hop in the camper, Luke sits in the drivers seat and turns on the engine with Ashton sitting in the passenger seat next to him, it's gonna be lashton af up there I can see it now. Once the engine starts we were off, I waved as we left the campsite and drove out of glenroy. And then finally out Of Melbourne.

"Bye Melbourne until next time!" Ellie shouts out the window and frantically waves, making us all laugh.

Three hours later and we've stopped in a town called Cooma, we all hop out and Me and Ellie walk into the gas station, We run in and grab what we need for the rest of our trip, I pick up four biscuit packs two large variety packs of crisps, sandwiches, WKD, powerade and for some reason extra t shirts I didn't even look at there design I just picked them up, not even sorry.

We rush to the counter and I see ellie has baba of chocolate, fruit more powerade and a t shirt. We all put it on the counter and lay and rush out with two bags each. We put them all in the camper.

"Woah you got a lot of stuff and what's with the three t shirts?" Calum asks and I just shrug making him roll his eyes and laugh. We all climb back in the camper and Luke starts driving once again right now it's only half past eight in the morning so the roads are pretty quiet. So that doesn't mess up our schedule at all luckily.

"So guys what should we do when we get to the Capital?" Troye asked. we all think for a while and then suddenly Calum says:

"LETS GO CAMPING!" Even though w beast ally are on a camping trip I see where he's coming from.

"Yes oh my vid we can sleep under the stars" Ellie says and we all cheer.

"I haven't been camping since I was like nine" I said causing everyone to laugh once again. Then we all settled down drinking powerade and eating sandwiches as we made our way to Canberra.

I stared out the window as we passed a road sign saying two miles to Canberra, I fixed my sunglasses and stood up and watched as Luke pulled into a campsite.Finally we were here it had been a boring six hours, I hugged him from behind as he parked the vehicle.

"Well, here we are then are very last destination" Luke said and I heard the choruses of sighs behind me.

"Come on guys lets get the camp stuff and go find a spot" Ellie said and we grab the stuff and get going. My head begins to ache and I fall behind.

"Hey are you okay Em?" Ellie asks obviously noticing why Im lagging, I nod my head.

"Yeah don't worry I'm fine" I reply and we carry on walking.

Finally we find a spot under a large willow tree it's near the beach too this was a good spot. Everyone goes to explore but I stay because I feel ill and I want some rest. I climb up they willow tree and sit up on a branch and look out over the blue sea, for seek reason a single tear rolls down my cheek and hits my hand. Why am I crying? I then fall into a deep sleep.

My eyes flutter open and I'm still on the branch I'm in the Sam place looking over the blue sea. Suddenly a hand touches my shoulder, I jump and look over to see a familiar face.

"Michael..." I whisper and he smiles, I go to hug him but my arm goes straight through his body, he frowns and I feel another tear slide down my cheek.

"I miss you so much Emilee" Michael whispers, and I nod, I know this can't be real, I know it's a dream but it feels so real.

"I miss you to bestfriend" I whisper back. He places a hand on my cheek and smiles. I stare into his green eyes, still the same, still the same happy self.

"It's okay to let go..." He says to me and I feel another few tears roll down my face. But I shake my head no.

"I don't want to Mikey" I say and he smiles again.

"We shall see eachother again I promise" He says and I nod. I then watch as he slowly disappears his body slowly floating away, I watch as dozens of leaves fly through the sky into the horizon. And then he was gone.

I wake with a jolt, I look around and it's still sunny. I lie my back against the trunk and rub my face with my hands and sigh. I then begin to climb back down the tree, once I get down Luke pulls me into his arms and kisses my temple making me feel warm and safe inside.

"There's my girl" he whispers. I kiss his cheek and then think to myself. It's been two weeks since I was told I had three weeks left. I try to hold back tears as the doctors words flooded into my head I couldn't stop them though.

Am I nearly ready to let go?

Authors note----> oh my god I'm cryinggggggggg anyway sorry I haven't updated in. A While school has been All over the place for me anyway I should update again this afternoon, sadly though this book is coming to an end ;(( but don't worry! New fanfiction ideas are taking place!
