Chapter-24 Mistake

By the time we are half way through the movie Luna got dead bored. Well, I'm not going to lie, the movie sucks. When we chose the surprise, we didn't know that they meant some old black and white movie with a lot of crying taking place.

Both I and Luna felt the movie has too much drama for our liking. I even asked her if she wants to leave the movie but she straight out refused saying that we have already paid and not to waste the money by leaving without watching it.

That doesn't stop my girl from sleeping, she slept sometime back with her head on my shoulders. She must've been tired from all the works she had in the bakery and I didn't have the heart to wake her up. But I have to, the movie's over and we have to leave.

"Luna," I shook her up.

She mumbled some incoherent words sleeping again. Hell, why is my mate so cute?

"Luna the movie is over," I shook her up.

"I don't know how you found my identity; trust me I mean no harm," she mumbled.

What the heck is she talking about?

What identity?

Is she running away from someone?

Maybe I should ask her to tell me the truth.

"Luna," I raised my voice a bit.

"Huh?" she rubbed her eyes waking up. Sleepy Luna looks so damn adorable.

"Why didn't you tell me the truth about your identity?" I crossed my hands giving her a stern look.

Her eyes widened in fear, I'm right, aren't I? She is indeed hiding her identity. I could hear her heartbeat raise.

She huffed shaking her head, "what are you talking about?" she stuttered a bit.

"Luna," I softened my voice. "Are you running away from someone?" I took her hand in mine, softly rubbing her knuckles.

"Not now, I'll tell you when my vacation gets over, for now I want to live in the present forgetting everything," she whispered.

Well, that's a progress, she didn't refuse me. She just needed time; I can give her that. We have all the time in the world.

"Where now?" I lifted her up, this time she let me lift her without any trouble. She held my nek tight afraid that I'll let her down.

Don't worry Luna, I'll not let you down, never.

"Home, I'm tired," Luna mumbled letting out a yawn.

"Then home it is," I started walking. I'll order something when we go home, I don't want her to cook in this state. She has to take rest to heal faster.

There's something that can heal her soon. No, don't go there Luke, you know the rules. It's not fair for Luna.

"Umm..." my mate stopped me.
