Chapter-59 Run

"Luna."

"Luna..."

"Huh?" I turned towards Luke with a blank look.

Was he saying something?

Why is our car not moving? Why did he stop here?

"We are here to eat, it'll take eight more hours to reach their pack," he moved his eye towards the diner.

Oh okay, I nodded my head.

We are currently travelling towards Noah's pack. To my dismay, Noah invited Luke to come as soon as possible, making our plans get preponed. We started the same evening we decided to visit their pack.

Luke haven't told them about me but he said that he needs some very important help from Noah. And Noah being the sweetest guy he is, he immediately agreed to it.

But I cannot control my nerves, I don't know how Sara will react to me. I don't want her to hate me. Even though Luke convinced me that it wouldn't be the case, I couldn't help but be afraid of her reaction.

I left her when she needed me the most.

We still have eight more hours, according to Luke we'll be reaching there by early morning. It's around nine at night, we have a long way to go.

"What do you want?" Luke brought me out of my thoughts as he handed me the menu. It's some local diner, small and cozy just like the way I love but my whole thoughts are filled with Sara's reaction of me.

"Peri peri fries and veg burger with no cheese," I read some combo menu written there.

Luke gave me a strange look, "No cheese?"

Wait did I say no cheese? My eyes widened at realization.

"Luna," Luke held my hand, giving me a small squeeze. "How many times do I have to tell you that she's not going to hate you? Stop worrying," he stood up and sat next to me, giving me a small peck in my forehead.

And just like that I melted into his embrace as I leaned onto his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around my waist, "Now tell me what do you want to eat?"

"Same with extra cheese," I giggled. Luke knows how much I love cheese. If there's one thing that I couldn't live without, it's cheese.

"Sleep Luna, you need rest," Luke caressed my head. It's been three hours since we started again. We have five more hours to reach their pack and he is right; I am indeed tired. But I want to keep him company.

"No, I am alright," I yawned turning to his side, leaning on the seat.

"Nope, you need sleep. You need to heal completely Luna, the more you rest the faster you heal."
