Chapter-33 It's a blessing

"Why did you go to my room?" He frowned at me with a doubtful glare.

Oh God.

"Sofie?" he waited for me to reply.

"I was looking for our pictures together," I frowned at the memory of him and someone else in the mirror. Not that it hurt or something, I just hate the fact how he lied to me.

"Oh..." he paused for a moment, "you are hiding something from me," he came a bit closer making my heart beat faster.

I could feel my bones sending shivers all over my body, fear diluted through my blood. I took a step back before I could realize the grave mistake.

Now he knows for sure that I found something he didn't want me to.

"Sofie?" Even though he tried to speak soft, his voice sounded dead serious.

Oh god, let's assume he is my boyfriend and everything he said was true, then I shouldn't be scared of him. But here I am, dead scared of my so-called boyfriend.

"Noth-nothing," I stuttered.

God, why is my voice failing too?

I took a deep breath in fear, trying to calm my senses.

'Luna, I hope you hear me. Stay safe, I'm coming for you. Whoever you are with, don't believe them. Trust our bond, there's a reason we are destined to be together. I love you,' again I heard Luke's voice.

And like magic, it calmed my senses and made me feel safe. Luke, my Luke is coming for me. I don't know what he meant by destiny and bond but every cell in my body believes this voice inside my head.

I don't even know whether it's possible but from what I saw in that room, I'm not really in a state of understanding what is normal.

"Sofie? What's bothering you?"

"Those pictures," I paused, "in the mirror."

I closed my eyes and concentrated on the words Luke said to me. He's coming for me.

'You are safe right Luna? Please be safe for me, I don't think I'll be able to live without you Luna. Please, hold on. I'm coming for you,' I heard him speak again.

I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed listening to his voice. It's like he knows what I am feeling. How magical is that?

"Oh that," he hissed at my words. "Don't worry about those pictures, trust me," he took a step forward to hold my hand.

I needed explanation and he is not giving me that.

"No, I need time" I lied. I don't want him to touch me.

"Sofie, I can explain" he groaned.

"Later, now I need some time. I didn't expect this from you Jeremy," I raised my voice.
