My mate panicked as soon as I said Aurora to come in, 'We are in this together Luna,' I squeezed her hand, communicating through the bond. My mate gave me a soft smile.

Now it makes sense how we were able to communicate through the bond. She is as powerful as me or even more powerful than me. That's why.

'Yeah,' she squeezed my hand back.

Damn, I still couldn't believe she is with me and she listened to me. I have no clue what I did to deserve her forgiveness.

When Aurora entered, she looked at us with confusion, it's time that she knows the truth. I don't want my mate to think that I am planning to marry Aurora. When she spoke bullshit a while back, I tried so hard to control my anger, not to show the Lucas everyone fears. But it hurt when she asked me to be happy with someone who's not her. 'Be serious Luke,' my mate growled making me grin at her cuteness as I tried hard not to smile.

"We need to speak, sit," I said taking Luna's hands and sitting together on the couch while Aurora sat at the chair opposite to us.

"How do you know Lucas?" Aurora questioned Luna but I could sense the anger in it. She doesn't want to hear the truth; she wants a lie that could satisfy her heart instead of the harsh reality that hurts. But it's time for the truth and not the lie.

"I met Luke a month back, the adventure I told you about, it was with Luke," my mate started smiling at the memories.

Yes, I do remember, she even got a tattoo of my heartbeat in her hand. I squeezed Luna's hand at the memories. My mate, here with me, it still feels surreal.

"Stop calling him Luke, he hates it," Aurora snapped making my mate flinch at her voice.

Hell no, I hate it when other people call me Luke, not Luna. I want her to call me Luke. Every time she calls me Luke, she brings a part of me back alive, happy and hoping. Hoping to have his happily ever after with her.
