There she was, my mate, all alone, lying on the ground like a corpse, her heart barely beating, blood running like a waterfall from her neck.
What have they done?
No... No... No... this cannot happen to Luna.
She doesn't deserve it.
"Luna, hey can you hear me?" I took my mate in my lap desperately clutching onto her life my life depended on it.
It is, she is my life. My mate.
"Luna?" I removed my coat and kept in on her neck trying to stop the bleeding.
Her pulse was very feeble. Her heart was barely beating.
I need to stop the bleeding before I take her to the hospital. And there is only way I can stop this bleeding.
"I'm sorry Luna, forgive me for doing this without your permission," I pecked her head and slit my wrist feeding her my blood.
Vampire blood heals human and when they help a human, that human will be swearing his or her loyalty to that vampire.
But when mates consume each other's blood, it completes the mate bond. Like marking on the neck for werewolves, for vampires it's consuming each other's blood. By consuming my blood Luna will be bonded to me forever. Me consuming hers will complete our bond but I'll wait for that.
I already feel guilty for feeding her my blood without her permission but the only way to heal her is this.
Slowly her bleeding stopped but her pulse was feeble, she can do this. She is a warrior.
Carrying her in my hands, I ran back to my car in vampire speed. Putting her in the backseat I took her to the nearest hospital.
On entering the hospital, the nurses rushed towards me looking at my unconscious mate.
"What happened sir," one of the nurses asked.
"Don't ask questions and treat her, she was met with a minor accident," I manipulated their mind to follow my orders.
I put her in the stretcher and they took her to the ER to stich her neck and take care of her injuries.
My phone vibrated. It was Carter.
"Lucas, they aren't involved in this."
Then who the heck did that to my mate?
"There's no way a commoner could be doing it," I growled.
"Lucas but I investigated it, I'm sure they are not involved in it."
"RE CHECK" I cut the call.
Damn, there's no way a human could do such a cruel act.
