(A/N) This was another long chapter, longer than the previous one. For that reason, I had to split it up again into two chapters, so there's going to be part 3. The other part will be uploaded by tomorrow evening or by Monday because I'm going out of town for a while. See you then!

Enjoy reading!

Recap; "I-I... Uhh..." Ezekiel trailed off uneasily. He didn't know what to say. Unconsciously, he looked at King Valeo who already had a reassuring smile on his face that said 'Don't worry, I got this.'

King Valeo cleared his throat, getting their attention. "That's right. He's an Ice Elementalist."

Ezekiel opened his mouth to speak but King Valeo quickly raised his hand while subtly shaking his head to stop him and just let him speak.

"He's adopted and yes, he's a survivor from Domino." King Valeo confessed, lying smoothly.

Ezekiel bit his lower lip.

King Zayden and Queen Fiona felt their world shake from the sudden revelation. They turned to Ezekiel who couldn't look them in the eye.

"I rescued him and took him in when he was still a young little boy. When I thought everyone was gone, I found him." King Valeo lied flawlessly. He then stared at Zack. "That's why he has every right to concern himself with Crystal because she is his true princess and ruler."

Queen Fiona covered her mouth with her hands while looking at Ezekiel with mixed emotions in her eyes. Both her and King Zayden didn't know what to feel and react to it. But there's one thought they have right at this moment. It's not possible.

"Even though he didn't really know Crystal personally, or Queen Fiona and King Zayden, the Royal Family, I've told him a lot about you." King Valeo continued.

"No one knew about him being my son because like I said to Zack, Ezekiel preferred living his life privately. I supported his wish to continue his life without people knowing he's a royalty, so he could live more normally. I hope that cleared your thoughts and any misunderstandings." King Valeo finished, briefly glancing at Zack when he said his last sentence.

Despite the clear explanation and answer, Zack still couldn't understand. The way Ezekiel reacted yesterday was a little over the top if he's just concerned about Crystal. "That still doesn't make any sense." He mumbled, looking confused. He's trying to make sense of it but he just can't.

Ezekiel rolled his eyes. "It doesn't make any sense or you just refuse to make sense of it? There's no in between."

Zack went silent.

King Valeo had a prideful smirk on his lips. "Ooh, my son snapped." He whispered a comment. Again, King Zayden and Queen Fiona looked at him blankly.

Ezekiel crossed his arms, feeling a little satisfied that he made Zack keep quiet, unable to answer. "Listen here, Your Highness." He called him, addressing his title mockingly. "I care about my princess more than you'll ever know and no one here is forcing you to understand or make sense of the answers you were looking for."

Zack could only purse his lips.

King Valeo was about to silently cheer for him again when King Zayden, Queen Fiona, Headmistress and even Rosanna gave him a warning glare stopping him from speaking whatever he wanted.

"Boys, calm down." Rosanna called them out. "We're in a meeting and it's forbidden to fight and use your power against your other peers except when you're in a magic duel, but both sides have to permit it to proceed." She reminds them when she notices the tension that's getting thicker between the two who are now having a glaring contest. They looked like they were ready to pounce at each other.
