(Ezekiel's P.O.V)
"Holy sh*t! You talked to the King and Queen!?" Lucian burst in shock.
I nodded. "U-huh."
He blows another breath as if he still couldn't believe it. "You're not pulling my leg right now, right? You really saw them?" He asked again.
Again, I nodded looking smug. "Yup."
He blinked at me and blinked again.
I rolled my eyes at him.
"Wow. Is that the reason why you said you owed me?" He asked.
"That was my way of saying thank you." I replied. "It was probably fated to happen. But either way, I would still have met them. I mean if you woke me up like I told you to, I would have just seen them not talk to them. So, I would just pick the latter since not only did I see them up close, I even talked to them." I continued as I remembered the precious moment.
Lucian smiled at my happy face. "Well, then I'm glad I didn't wake you up like you told me to. And you're back to your usual self again."
I smiled back, not wanting to reminisce of what my ex-ill minded father nor I wanted it to affect me. I'm no longer going to let it affect me nor can he. Not anymore.
"I want to see them again." I told Lucian.
"You will, two months from now they'll be here again. That or you can just go to Domino and see them." He suggested.
I shook my head. It'll be too risky. Plus, mom and dad don't even know I exist. "It's fine. I'll just wait for another chance to see them again. Besides, we still need to find my sister." I replied.
"Yeah, you're right. And we'll search again tomorrow." Lucio said.
I nodded as I looked at the calendar. It's tuesday tomorrow. We'll start looking for her again.
Ever since we got enrolled in the school, Lucian and I arranged a follow up schedule regarding our search on my twin sister. We can't always leave, since it'll arouse more suspicion than it is already. It was a good thing our friends respected us for not telling them when they ask about why Lucian and I are not always at school nor do they try to force us to tell them why.
We look for Crystal every Tuesday, Thursday and weekends.
"Did Zillah get any clues?" He asked me, mentioning my dragon whom I sent to continue to search while on the times we can't, like right now.
I shook my head. "No. He hasn't reached back yet. He will tell me if he does." I answered.
He nodded in understanding. He suddenly sat straight and leaned forward.
I was sitting on the couch opposite to his.
"But isn't it strange why we still can't find her, or even a clue of where she might be? Come to think of it, we'd already search far and wide even outside Gardanhia, but neither of us found a trace of her disappearance." Lucian wondered.
I didn't reply as I fell deep into my thoughts. He's right. We'd been here for nine months now. We should have found a hint now, but none.
It was either she didn't want to be found or... she's really dead.
"Hey, I know that look. Don't get discouraged now. I just wondered why we haven't found her. I'm not trying to be pessimistic, so don't be too. I was just genuinely confused, so don't read deep into it." Lucian said, patting me on the shoulder when he moved to sit by my side.
"Let's sleep on it. Rest up, bud. Tomorrow is going to be a new day and we'll look for her first thing in the morning." He told me.
I nodded. "Okay. Good night." I stood up.
