All the students now are gathered in the main hall. They were all summoned by the Headmistress who was going to make an official announcement about the Magic Tournament.
"Good morning, everyone." Headmistress Farragonda greeted.
"Good morning, Headmistress." The students greeted back in unison.
"I'm sure you have all heard about the upcoming tournament?" She asked.
The student hollered in response looking excited.
Headmistress chuckled at their reaction lightly. "Well, since you're all looking forward to this, I'm now making an official announcement. It's now confirmed that the Magic Tournament will be held this time at Adarakira." She announced.
They cheered even more, looking enthusiastic about the upcoming tournament.
"There's more." Said the Headmistress as they automatically quiet down.
"We'll be doing a collaboration with Clivenrix Academy. Five representatives from Clivenrix will be arriving next week to join us until the day of the tournament. The tournament won't happen until next two months from now, so we still have time to prepare." Headmistress added.
Whispers and murmurs filled the hall with nothing but excited curiosity about meeting the representatives from Clivenrix.
"And last but not the least, King Zayden and Queen Fiona of Domino will also arrive to welcome the representatives with us." The Headmistress finished.
A second later, squeals, and cheers of exhilaration boomed and echoed in the hall as they looked forward to seeing the King and Queen again.
A wide grin automatically split on Ezekiel's face hearing what the Headmistress said, feeling giddy and eager to finally see his real parents. He turned to Lucian who was also looking at him with a smile, clearly happy for his friend.
"Holy sh*t!" Angelica squealed while jumping up and now. "Damn. That was the surprise Headmistress didn't tell us!" She yelps in delight while looking back at her friends mentioning the other members of the student council.
Nathan just smiled. Then they turned their attention back to the Headmistress when she started talking again.
"The student council is assigned to decorate the main hall for the welcome party of our guests, while the rest of you will work together to fully prepare our school for the upcoming tournament. That's all, everyone. I'll be making more announcements soon, so stay tuned. Dismissed."
Everyone exited the main hall and now they're all on their way back to their classes. The hallways were buzzing with chatty noises, all about the upcoming tournament, the coming students from Clivenrix, and the Rulers of Domino.
"Who do you think the representatives from Clivenrix will be?" Jacob started a conversation as they walked.
"No idea. Headmistress didn't tell us anything about them, not even their names. Though she did mention that the representatives are members from their student council." Angelica replied.
"I can't wait to meet them." Jazmine.
"I'm looking more forward to seeing the King and Queen." Ezekiel couldn't help but comment. All eyes turned on him.
Lucian chuckled at Ezekiel's eagerness. He put his arm around his shoulder before messing with his hair.
"He's a big fanboy of the King and Queen." Lucian said. Teasing smiles split on their friends faces while Ezekiel only responded with a cheeky and sheepish grin.
