The one with questions and a restless night

Luke's pov

"What is the question?" I ask Ashton.

He is about to answer until Brooke walks in tells us the good news about Miranda. I couldn't help but smile. Miranda is absolutely amazing and she doesn't deserve to stay in a hospital. 

We went to an ice cream shop across the street to celebrate Miranda. An hour later we walked back to Brooke's house. 

Brooke's mom had made homemade pizza for dinner. We ate and got ready for bed. 

I just couldn't sleep. I couldn't stop thinking about her. I would be lying if I said I didn't like her, but it could never happen. Would it? No. I couldn't do that even if I wanted to. 

I had to see her. Right now.

I contemplated it for a few more moments until I eventually got up and got around. I got my shoes on and headed to my car.

I can not believe I'm doing this.

After a few minutes I'm sitting in the waiting room in the hospital. I get called back to see Miranda. 

I walk in and she is awake. I sit down next to her bed. We talk for a little while before I decide to ask her.

"Um Miranda?"

"Yes Luke"

"After you get out of the hospital, do you maybe um, wanna go out with me sometime?"

"Yes I would love that Luke." She smiled and blushed, making me smile and blush.

I told her that I needed to head back to get some and she should do the same. It was going to be a long day tomorrow. Miranda gets out and we decided to have our date later that night. I go home and go to bed. 

Ashton's pov

I just woke up because I couldn't sleep. I look over to see my beautiful girlfriend. She was still peacefully asleep. I love her so much. I decided that tomorrow before Miranda comes home I will ask her. To say I'm a little nervous would be an understatement, I am so nervous that I can't sleep. 

Eventually I manage to fall back asleep. 

Brooke's pov

I wake up to the sunshine coming through the window and a sleeping Ashton right beside me.

 And I want it that way.

A few minutes later he wakes up. I get a call from the hospital. All the tests went well and she was coming home in an hour!! I tell Ashton and we were both so happy. 

We walk into the kitchen full of people and tell them the good news. My parents weren't that excited which doesn't surprise me anymore. Luke was probably the most happy out of anyone, I don't know why though.

Ashton, Luke, and I decided to go and pick her up.

Before we left, however, Ashton had a question for me. 

"After the tour is over do you want to move to Australia with me?"

"Ash, I would love to." I gave him a big hug.

Then we went to pick up Miranda. Both Miranda and Luke seemed happy to see each other but I don't know why. 

Eventually my curiosity got the best of me.

"What is going on between you two?"

"Um well Luke visited me last night and we talked for a while and he asked me out and I said yes."

"Wow I'm so happy for you guys that's awesome! So when are you guys going out?"

"Later tonight. Do you think you're parents would mind?" Luke asked me.

"No I can guarantee you that they do not plan on celebrating Miranda's health. Sorry sis but it's just the way they are."

"Yeah I know. I guess I just thought that maybe they would care a little but I guess I was wrong." She said nuzzling into Luke's shoulder. 

I feel so bad for her I started to cry. 

I get a text from Michael and he said that they prepared a party for Miranda. That is amazing, at least someone cares about Miranda.

Miranda was so surprised she was crying. We spent the next few hours hanging out before she got ready for her date with Luke. 

Sorry for not updating in a while I've been super busy. I will try to post more often. So how was this chapter. The next chapter will most likely be just Miranda and Luke's date.
