We get one block from school.. and I stop.. Whats wrong says Matt? I'm nervous I hate being the center of attention. I just don't like when people feel sorry for me. That all they gonna say all day I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. Did your brother really kill him? Matt takes my hand and says its gonna be ok you wanna skip the first two classes.. But.... I never skipped school before... I have it will be ok No one will know but me and you.. OK i say hesitantly. We start walking past the school.I see my friends out front. They try calling my name but I break into a run... I run to the football field and just sit on the bleachers.. Matt is not far behind. Matt and I sit there and talk I remember that I had some vodka in my bag. I take it out and drink half of it.. Whoa Matt says slow down.. We have to get to class we can't skip all day or they will call our parents. Ughh I say do we really have to. Yes, Matt says... OK .. race ya I say.. Wait up Em.. you not drunk you just drank half of that bottle. No I'm good kiss him on the cheek then giggle.. Maybe I'm  a lil buzzed I say.. What Class do you have next he says Gym I say. I never go to gym I say I usually go to the library instead.. I have gym next to says Matt.. Really I say yeah he says you would know if u actually showed up.. OH ha ha.. So I'm guessing you want me to go to gym with you. Of course he says.. UGHH ok i guess I will go. As we walk in gym I see all my friends going towards the locker room. guess I need to go change in to my gym clothes. Yeah he says me too. OOH you in shorts..... He smirks then kisses me briefly. Go Emily.. he says I'm going geez... he slaps me on my butt as I pass him.. Glenna and Erin are in gym this period. I try to ignore them but they come hug me and ask if im ok.. Yeah im fine I say. What happened says Erin Is it true did your brother kill your dad? I don't know I didn't go home last night I said.. I slept by Matt's house I lied.. I really hope he goes along with it I know they gonna ask him too. OMG really did ya'll do anything.. I looked at Erin with a straight face and said NO but we did sleep in the same bed together.. that part wasn't a lie.  That is so sweet she says..yeah I guess I say..I roll the waistband of my shorts because I like them extra short its easier to move that way... I walk out and go sit on the girls side of the bleachers. I see Matt sitting on the other side talking to one of his friends..I quickly turn my head before he notices I'm staring at him..  Mr. Smith does roll call.. When he gets to my name I say here.. Miss Henderson nice of you to join us today..whatever I mumble... Basketball says Mr. Smith girls against boys. Winners get free tickets to the schools girl basketball playoffs.. I mentally groan I am a basketball player I get in free.. Whose gonna be captain Erin says you are I say.. OK Emily you ready to beat some ass.. yep lets do this.. You start Emily ok.. Matt starts on the boys team..you going down he says with a smirk on his face. oh really. I pull my shirt over my head to show my sports bra. He was now distracted, ha ha. I got the ball first  and made a two point shot.. Matt catches my rebound.. I block him and steal the ball and go in for a 3 pointer..some other guy gets it this time I think his name is Blaine..  I let Erin try and get it from him.. she was not able to get the ball from him.. Come on Erin I say focus.. one of the girls on my team passes the ball to me I take my time making my way across the court.. I can fell Matt behind me. I push my backside to him.. Emily watch what you doing... Oh I am I say and pass the ball to Erin who is open.. I turn around towards Matt and say you better watch it.. I move to an open spot and Erin passes the ball back to me. I score again... By the end of the game the girls win 25-16.. I run over to Matt and say I told you I would beat you..he pulls me in for a kiss I forgot we were in the middle of the gym.. everyone was staring at us.. I pull away leaving him breathless and go shower and change in the locker room.  I walk out the locker room and somebody grabs me Hey I say let me go.. NO he says.. Ughh  Matt what are you doing.. this he says and pushes me up against the wall and starts kissing me I wrap my legs around his waist... Erin and Glenna walk out  and say EMILY!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?  I'm making out with Matt I say... He puts me down I, stand in front of him to hide his bulge in his pants. I will fix that later I whisper in his ear.. hmm he says.. Erin just shakes her head.. you mean to tell me y'all slept in the same bed last night and didn't do anything. I find that hard to believe seeing what i just saw... No Erin we didn't do anything we talked and I went to sleep I was tired from practice.. I'm going back to his house tonight.. my mom is going out of town for a few days.. Erin looked at Matt to see if I was lying.. He didn't say anything which made Erin mad.. Matt did you guys really spend the night together and not do anything... Matt looks at me first.. he looks at my eyes which are telling him just go with the lie.  Yes Erin he says we did spend he night together and NO we didn't go any further than making out.. She seemed satisfied with that answer.and walked off.  When Erin is far enough away Matt says but we did do something..NO i corrected him you did something... He just laughs and says I guess you right..  I have detention again I say .. yeah Me too he says lets go.. After school we walking home.. Are u ready for the game tomorrow? Yeah Ill give you my ticket if you wan to come I get in free,, sure I would love to see you play..We stop at my house so I can get clean clothes for tomorrow.. I had to pack my uniform and shoes for the basketball game.. I unlock the front door and see my mom sitting at the counter..Hey mom I say.. Matt enters the house with me.. Hi Mrs. Henderson he says.. And who are you she asks.. I'm Matt I say Emily's boyfriend... EMILY!!! my mom yells... What I say running downstairs with my bag.. This boy says hes your boyfriend is that true..yes mom he was here last night don't you remember.. OH this is the same guy she says yes mom I say.. where are you going she says.. Im going by his house tonight..Ok whatever my mom says.. By the way mom nice job on the clean up you can barely tell someone got killed here..  a look of shock registered on  her face.. here mom drink this it will make you feel better..see you when ever..My mom took the bottle of liquor and started drinking it as i walked out the door and locked it. Matt turns to me and says why did u give your mom the alcohol.. because I say she was getting ready to drink it anyway..  Matt frowns.. WHAT?? I say nothing he says.  After dinner at Matt's house we go up his room I change into my sleep clothes and cuddle up next to him he holds on to me.. and mumbles something I don't hear.  I am sitting in my house my mom is gone and no where to be found.. I go through the liquor cabinets and grab a bottle of Jack Daniels. I start drinking straight out the bottle.. I go sit on my sofa and put some music on..my i pod.. the bottle is half empty already.. I hear a knock at my door..Its open I yell.. Matt walks in..you know you shouldn't leave your door unlocked.. why its not like someone gonna come murder me i slur.. Emily did you drink all of this yesssss I say.. Damn it Matt says.. What its just a little alcohol... Emily that is too much.. OH whatever.. I pass out on the sofa... Emily Matt Yells... Emily wake up...come on baby wake up.... Emily wake up.... I sit straight up in bed and see Matt already sitting up...You ok he says .. Yeah I'm fine I say...If i ever catch you doing that.. I will be pissed you are too young to be drinking I know all this bothers you with your family but you don't have to pretend with me.. What are you talking about I? I say. Emily you know what I'm talking about don't you.. How did u even know I asked. Emily the more I am with you the more I learn about you. and being in your dreams lets me know what your subconscious is thinking.. Crap I say... So u knew that I know that you are basically stalking my dreams.. Yes..I knew the first time you told me about your brother that u were aware of me in your dreams.. So are you gonna like stalk my dreams forever I say.. maybe he says grinning..Emily I really like you.. I like you too i say can we go back to sleep now.. sure he says gotta a big game tomorrow.. Good night Matt. Good night Emily he says then gives me a kiss. Hey Matt yeah he says thanks for stopping me from drinking the whole bottle.. no problem he says..
