Waking up this morning something feels different.
It's not just in the air but something inside me as well.
Sitting up in bed I stretch my arms over my head, letting out a long yawn.
I think about last night. About Alex helping me, dancing with me.
Looking to the other side of the bed I see it's empty.
He must've left when he realized I was asleep.
Getting up I walk over to my dresser to grab clothes for after my shower.
Thats when I see him.
He seriously slept on the floor?
Awww he looks so peaceful when he's asleep.
I kick him in the ribs.
"What the fuck." He groans grabbing his side.
I roll my eyes, "I just lightly nudged you. Don't be so dramatic Alexander." I say as he sits up.
The blanket falls and I see that he has no shirt on.
His abs are staring at me.
"My eyes are up here." He says and I flit my eyes up to his.
I clear my throat.
"Why did you sleep on the floor?" I ask, tilting my head to the side.
He raises an eyebrow, "Would you have preferred I sleep on the bed? Forewarning you I am a big cuddler but only when I'm the small spoon." He says, his eyes full of amusement.
"The bed is big enough for two people." I defend.
"So no to the spooning?" He says and I try not to laugh.
He stands up and puts the pillow and blanket back on the bed.
"Was it uncomfortable sleeping on the floor?" I ask worriedly.
His movements tell me it was.
He shakes his head, "I'm ok, pretty girl."
That's the second time he's called me that.
And just like the first time I won't say anything about it because something inside me stirs at the name.
I never want him to stop calling me that.
"Well at least let me help you with that." I say reaching for the blanket to fold it.
He keeps it out of my reach, "No, go take your shower I told you I have it."
I gap at him, "Are you saying I stink?"
He chuckles shaking his head, "No, but you look kind of scary." He gestures to my face and I grab my phone turning my camera on.
