Liv's been off ever since she found out her mom relapsed.
Who can blame her?
The thing is watching her hurt, hurts me.
I fucking hate it.
Not even Toby's and Willy's jokes during lunch can stir a smile out of her.
Not even a fucking a little twitch of one either.
I don't know if she's noticed but she's barely spoken to anyone in the last week and half.
She'll answer questions if they're asked to her directly but other than that she's been really closed off.
Nothing like her usual self.
Cora's even brought it up to me, that shows how out of character it is for Liv.
Which is why I have asked her to meet me at the skate park.
No one else is here and I let the guys know not to come down here for a few hours.
I need to talk to her and I cant do that at the house with Cora hovering everywhere worrying about Liv.
I sit on the picnic table, my leg bouncing up and down as I wait for her.
When her dark brown hair comes into view I stand from the table.
"Why are we meeting here?" She asks noticing its empty besides the two of us.
I grab her hand leading her back over to the table.
She sits down and I sit beside her.
"Lets talk."
Her brows furrow, "About?"
"About what I can do to help you."
She sighs, her gaze trained on the concrete ground.
"You know the whole not shutting you out when life gets hard thing, it goes both ways."
She kicks at the ground, "I'm not shutting you out."
"Liar."
I grip her chin, making her look at me.
"Everyones worried about you."
"I'm fine."
"Liar."
She rolls her eyes, "You cant say 'liar' every time you disagree with something I say."
"I can when what you are saying is false."
She closes her eyes and I lean my forehead against hers.
"I know you're hurting pretty girl, but you don't have to do it all alone."
"I'm sorry I've been distant."
I shake my head against hers. There is nothing to apologize for.
"Just tell me what's going on."
