Well I guess I have something new to add to this weeks video diary.
If I choose to add it in of course.
Ok so I know I won't.
I know I should just not go to school today. That I should call in sick, even cancel on Alex.
That's really the smartest idea.
I wince as I touch the fresh bruise on my wrist.
I knew I forgot to lock the door last night.
My mom had come home drunk off her ass and she wasn't alone.
This guy was different than the other ones. He didn't just look, he tried to touch.
He must've been roaming the house later that night and ended up in my room.
Luckily I was awake or lord knows how bad it could've gotten.
He pinned my wrists to the bed but I was able to knee him in the groin. Then I ended up sleeping in the tub all night.
I ran right in there after he keeled over and locked the bathroom door behind me. I didn't have the guts to leave the bathroom.
At some point I fell asleep and now not only did I have two sore wrists but I also have a kink in my back.
When I had woken up, school had already started, but if I left soon I could get to my third period before lunch.
I did end up leaving the bathroom after I woke up.
My mom was passed out in her bed and the guy was no where to be found.
Good.
I packed a bag planning on spending the night at Cora's.
Then I went back in the bathroom to do what I needed to do before getting changed.
I decide to wear a long sleeve grey shirt and black mom jeans.
My hair is in a bun because I wasn't able to wash it last night.
Grabbing my bag I decide to head to school.
When my teacher asks I'll just say my moms car broke down.
They'll believe anything.
As I walk down the steps of my front porch Ed the elderly man who now lives next door waves at me.
"Doesn't school start earlier?" He asks and I nod.
I can feel the judgment radiating off of him.
"Yeah I sort of slept in, my alarm didnt go off." I half lie.
There was no alarm.
He nods but the look on his face tells me he doesn't believe me.
When I get to school third period is halfway over.
