Olivia
I officially move back in with my mom today.
Alex of course was hesitant towards me going back there.
Especially with Bear living there as well. I promised him I would keep my door locked and text him if I needed him to come get me.
Cora voiced her concerns as well. She thinks my mom should work harder in order for me to come home but I meant what I said to her at dinner.
I'll move in but it is her last chance.
I will always love my mom but I will not watch her slip away again.
Now she knows that if she chooses that bottle she loses me. I guess we'll see what choice she makes.
As for living with Bear I'm not too worried.
He seems like a decent guy behind all of that ink.
Even with that I still have some reservations.
A major one being that he too is an alcoholic.
Alex voiced the concern I already had. If one slips up will the other?
Their relationship as well is super new.
I worry about that. Why is he living here if they barely know each other?
Did he have a place before?
That was the first question Sarah asked me after I explained the situation.
When I was at dinner me nor Alex thought about that question.
"And go find your assigned partner." Mr. Shields says, pulling me out of my thoughts.
Partner?
Shit I wasn't paying attention.
I turn back and Michael points to the empty seat next to him.
I guess he's my partner.
"Hey." I say as I sit beside him.
He nods in acknowledgment, "Hey."
"I hate to be that person but what is this for?" I ask and Michael laughs.
"It's part of the whole project, we have to discuss how much has changed since the start of school."
Oh.
"Oh okay."
"Do you want me to start?" He asks and I nod.
"Well not much actually. My boyfriend and I are still good. Naomi is still scarily in love with me. I guess the most exciting thing was us winning the championships."
"Do you want me to talk to Naomi?" I ask, my voiced lace with concern.
He shakes his head, "It's not your problem."
"No but it is a problem I mean it's borderline obsession."
He sighs, "Its ok Liv I promise, I would say something if it wasn't."
"If she does something to make you uncomfortable let me or someone know ok?" I ask and he nods.
I then go on to tell him about the past few months of my life. Of course leaving the gory personal stuff to myself.
By lunch I go and sit with Alex and his friends.
Ben is doing better about the break up which I am happy to see.
