Luca was sitting on the bench outside of school, tuning his guitar. "You know, you should really join the band class,"Luca heard. He looked up and saw his best friend, Katelyn.
"Kate, don't patronize me,"Luca said, "I don't need that class." "Maybe you do,"Kate said, "You know, Max Young is in that class." "Who?" Luca asked.
"Our new student,"Kate said. "We have a new student?" Luca asked, "Since when?" Kate nodded. "Yeah, since yesterday," She said, "He's very cute, and a very good singer."
Luca looked at Kate. "Katelyn," Luca said. "Oh come on, Luca!" Kate smiled, "Please, just stop by the choir room to see him, please."
Luca sighed. "I'm sorry, Kate," Luca said while standing up and grabbing his backpack, "I'll see you later." Kate sighed and nodded. "See you,"Kate said. Luca went to class.
*Class*
"Hey stranger,"Kate smiled while sitting down next to Luca. "What are you doing?" Luca asked, "You know this isn't your class, right?" "I know,"Kate said.
"Then why are you here?" Luca asked. "Well, let's just say that I persuaded the teacher to let me finish some work here,"Kate said. "Kate, you don't even have this class,"Luca said.
"How do you know that?" Kate asked. "We seriously studied each other's schedules,"Luca said, "This class has nothing to do with you."
Kate smiled sheepishly and giggled. "True,"Kate said softly. "Why are you really here?" Luca asked. Kate's gaze moved to Max and then back to Luca.
"Really?" Luca asked while looking at Kate, "We talked about this earlier, didn't we?" "But, if you talked to him-,"Kate said softly, but Luca interrupted her. "I'm not talking to him,"Luca said, "I don't even know him."
"Which is exactly why you should talk to him,"Kate smiled. Luca sighed and looked at Kate. "Please go back to class,"Luca said annoyingly. "Not until you talk to him,"Kate said.
"Oh my goodness,"Luca mumbled while running his hand through his hair, fully irritated. Kate was looking at him, with a pout.
Luca immediately shook his head. "Go to class,"Luca said, "You're not about to do that." Kate smiled evilly, and stood up.
"Fine,"Kate said dramatically while grabbing her backpack, "I guess I'll go back to class...without my best friend...who won't dare talk to the new kid."
Luca groaned and stopped Kate from walking away. "Fine,"Luca said regretfully, "If you want me to talk to him...then I'll stop by the choir room after school." Kate shrieked a little and threw her arms around Luca's neck.
"Okay, okay,"Luca said while getting out of her grip, "Just, go back to class. Please." Kate kissed Luca's cheek, and left the class.
Luca sat back down in his seat and put his head on his desk. "You're crazy, Luca,"Luca whispered to himself.
*After school*
Luca was by his locker, grabbing his textbook, when he heard someone's voice next to him. He looked and saw a taller boy, with medium length-hair, and brown eyes.
"Can I help you?" Luca asked. "You're standing in front of my locker,"The boy said. Luca nodded, closed his locker and started walking away when the boy called out to him.
"Hey, can you show me the way to the choir room?" The boy asked. Luca sighed and turned around. Be nice. Luca thought. "Yeah,"Luca said. The boy followed Luca to the choir room.
*Choir room*
Luca stood to the side as the boy walked into the room. "Hey guys, Max is here!" A girl exclaimed. Luca's eyes widened as the brown eyed boy looked at him. "Thanks for showing me,"Max smiled.
Luca nodded. "Anytime,"Luca said. "What's your name, by the way?" Max asked. "Luca,"Luca said. Max smiled at Luca. "Thanks Luca,"Max said, "Maybe we could get to know each other, if you plan on sticking around."
"I really do wish I could,"Luca said, "But I have to get home." Max nodded and walked over to Luca.
"See you tomorrow,"Max smiled. "See you,"Luca said while leaving the room, getting in his car, and driving home.
