Strings of Love

Chapter Ten

"Wakey wakey,"Luca heard a deep voice whisper in his ear, "It's time to wake up. You don't want to be late today." Luca groaned, stretched, got out of bed and walked into the bathroom. 

He washed his hands after he did his business, and got dressed. He walked downstairs to the kitchen. He saw Max making breakfast and walked up behind him. 

"Good morning, baby,"Luca whispered in Max's ear as he wrapped his arms around his waist. Max smiled. "If you keep that up,"Max said while turning around to face Luca, "Then we might have to go for round four." 

Luca laughed and kissed Max. "I'll make an exception for that,"Luca said while grabbing a piece of bacon from the plate, and jumping onto the counter. "So, what are we doing since it's the weekend?" Luca asked. 

"Kate and Alex want to go on a double-date,"Max said. Luca sighed. "That girl just won't quit, will she?" Luca asked. Max laughed and stood in between Luca's legs. "Or,"Max smiled, "We can skip breakfast and go back to bed." 

Luca shook his head. "I wish I could, but I have to get back home before my mom files a missing person report,"Luca said while getting off the counter. 

Max wrapped his arms around Luca's waist, and kissed his neck. "Do you have to leave?" Max asked. "I'll be back,"Luca said, "You can come with me." Max smiled like a happy child. "I'll go get dressed!" Max exclaimed while running upstairs to his room. 

Luca slid on his shirt and buckled his pants. "Why buckle them when all they're going to do is come off later?" Max teased. "Max!" Luca laughed, "Stop it!" Max laughed. They ate breakfast and went back to Luca's house. 

Luca walked through the door and Max followed him. "Mom, I'm home!" Luca yelled. His mom and Mariah walked into the living room. "Lukey!" Mariah exclaimed while running over to him. 

Luca picked her up and kissed her cheek. "Hi baby sister,"Luca said. Mariah hugged Luca and then looked at Max. "Who is this?" Mariah asked. Luca smiled and looked at Max. "I'm Max,"Max said, "Luca's…" 

Max looked at Luca and he nodded. Max smiled. "I'm Luca's boyfriend,"Max said. Mariah hugged Max. "You're very cute,"Mariah said. Max laughed. "Thank you, you're cuter,"Max said. 

Luca gave Mariah to Max and walked into the kitchen. "Hey mom,"Luca said. "Lucas, we talked about this,"His mom said. "I know,"Luca said, "I'm not allowed to stay over peoples houses until I inform you about it first, but it kinda just happened." 

"You getting a boyfriend or laying down?" His mom asked. "Mom!" Luca exclaimed embarrassingly. His mom smiled. "It's not like I haven't laid down!" His mom said, "How do you think I had you?" 

"Oh my god!" Luca laughed, "Stop talking!" His mom hugged him. "Just be careful,"His mom said. Luca nodded. "He seems like a nice boy, just be careful,"His mom said. Luca nodded again. 

"We're going on a double date with Kate and Alex, so I'll be home by 10 pm, maybe 30 minutes late,"Luca said. His mom nodded and Max walked into the kitchen.

"Max, this is my mom,"Luca said, "Mom, this is Max." Max was about to shake hands with his mom, but he was brought into a hug. "Call me Ms. Williams from now on,"His mom said. 

Luca sighed embarrassingly, and ran his hands through his hair. "Oh sweet Jesus,"Luca mumbled. Max looked back at Luca. 

"Are you ready to go?" Max asked. Luca nodded. "See you later,"Luca said while hugging his mom and kissing her head, "I love you." "I love you too,"His mom said, "It was nice meeting you, Max." 

"You too, Ms. Williams,"Max said while following Luca back to the living room. Luca had Mariah in his arms. "I love you,"Luca smiled. "I love you too,"Mariah said. Luca tapped his cheek and Mariah kissed it.
