Strings of Love

Chapter Twenty-One

"Where's Luca?" Alex asked. "He's still in bed,"Max said while grabbing the cups from the counter and walking to the kitchen. "Is he okay?" Kate asked. 

"He's fine, just very sore,"Max said. "Can we go check on him?" Alex asked. Max nodded. "Yeah, but beware,"Max said. "Of?" Kate asked. 

Max laughed a little. "Make sure he's covered up before you go in there,"Max said. Kate and Alex nodded and went upstairs to Max's room. 

They walked into the room and saw Luca still sleeping. "Luca,"Kate said while waking him up. Luca rubbed his eyes and saw Kate and Alex. 

"Rough night?" Alex asked. Luca nodded. "A little too rough,"Luca said. Kate smiled. "I think you guys should step out and go back downstairs, I have to get myself cleaned up,"Luca said. 

Kate and Alex nodded and left the room. Luca got up and slowly walked to the bathroom. He took a shower, brushed his teeth and got dressed. 

He was about to walk out of the room, but was pushed against the door as it closed. "No more,"Luca said, "I've had enough." Max smiled and hugged Luca. "I'm sorry if I was too rough last night,"Max said as he let him go. 

"I like it rough baby,"Luca smiled. "I'm glad you did,"Max said while running his hand up Luca's shirt. "A few minutes,"Max said, "They can wait."

Luca looked in Max's eyes. "Kiss me, your lips didn't touch mine at all last night,"Luca said. "That's because I was focused on other things last night,"Max smiled while closing the gap between them both. 

Luca bit Max's bottom lip and kissed him. "Hmm, baby you know I lead this,"Max said softly. Luca shook his head. "Not today,"Luca said while straddling Max's lap. They made out for 10 minutes until Luca broke the kiss. 

"Your lips taste amazing,"Luca smiled. "So do yours,"Max said while standing up and sitting Luca on the dresser, "Please take this off." Max tugged on Luca's pants. "No,"Luca said while getting off the dresser, "I won't." 

Max looked at Luca. "Fine,"Max pouted. Luca smiled, opened the room door, and walked downstairs. "Luca, why are you walking like that?" Alex asked. "Ask him,"Luca said while pointing to Max. 

Alex looked at Max. Max smiled. "Reasons,"Max said. Alex bro-hugged Max and laughed. "You tapped?" Alex asked. "Had to get his attitude in check,"Max said. 

"Guys, can we go to the movies?" Kate asked. "Yeah, I'm down,"Luca said. "What movie?" Alex asked. Kate scrolled through her phone and found a movie. "Jumanji: The Next Level,"Kate said. 

 "When does it start?" Luca asked. "In 20 minutes,"Kate laughed. They shook their heads and headed out the door, getting in their cars and driving to the movie theater. 

They arrived, ordered their snacks, and sat down for the movie. During the middle of the movie, Max got a text. 

Justin: Hello, Maxwell. 

Max: What the hell do you want?

Justin: I want you

Max: I'm busy, so stop texting my phone. 

Justin: Then stop being busy 

Max: What do you want? 

Justin: I'm at your house, meet me there in 10 minutes. Clothing optional. 

Max and Luca sat at the very top of the theater and Alex and Kate sat at the very bottom. 

The movie ended 30 minutes later, and Max and Luca walked into the house, closing and locking the door behind him. Luca put his key on the counter and Max sat him on the counter. 

"You're so hot,"Max smiled. Luca sighed and looked at Max. "What?" Luca asked, "Do you want me?" Max nodded and licked his lips. "Yes,"Max said, "I want you so bad." 

Luca wrapped his legs around Max's waist and pulled him closer. "Take this off,"Luca said. Max pulled his shirt off and Luca kissed his neck and chest. "Babe, what are you doing?" Max asked softly. 

"Taking the lead, you always do the work, so it's my turn to be in charge,"Luca smiled. "Are you sure you can handle it?" Max asked. 

Luca looked Max in his eyes and pushed him onto the bed. "I can handle it,"Luca said. Max nodded. Let's just say, Luca tore Max apart in that bedroom. 

The next morning, Luca was back at home. "Mom,"Luca said softly. "Yes?" His mom asked. "How are you?" Luca asked, "Trully, how are you doing?" His mom looked at him. 

"I'm okay,"His mom said, "I promise." Luca looked at his mom. "Are you sure?" Luca asked. His mom nodded. "I'm okay, sweetie,"His mom said. 

Luca hugged his mom and kissed her head. "I love you,"Luca said. "I love you more than anything in the world,"His mom said while kissing his cheek. Luca smiled. 

Luca sat down at the island and his mom passed him a water bottle. "How's Max doing?" His mom asked. "He's doing good,"Luca said. "Why isn't he here with you now?" His mom asked. "He's not feeling too good,"Luca said. 

"Then why are you here with me instead of there for him?" His mom asked. Luca smiled. "It's a different type of "not feeling good","Luca said. His mom nodded. "Have you talked to him since Mariah?" Luca asked. 

"Yeah, I have,"His mom said while putting away some dishes and closing the cabinets, "He left after he found out about Mariah." Luca shook his head. "Bastard,"Luca mumbled. 

"Lucas, I didn't raise you that way,"His mom stated. "But he left us,"Luca stated. "Watch your tone,"His mom said. Luca nodded. "I'm sorry,"Luca apologized. "It's okay,"His mom said. 

There was a knock at the door and Luca went to open the door. Alex was standing there. "Hey, what's wrong?" Luca asked. "It's Max,"Alex said. "What about him?" Luca asked. "Luca, Max is in the hospital,"Alex said.
