Strings of Love

Chapter Four

Luca walked through Warner's Diner and saw Max. "You made it,"Max smiled. Luca nodded. "I wasn't going to miss this,"Luca said while sitting across from Max in the booth. 

Alex walked over to you both. "Hey Luca,"Alex said. "Wassup,"Luca said, "Max, this is Alex, Kate's boyfriend." Max nodded. "Hi,"Max said. "Hey,"Alex said, "So what can I get you two started with today?" 

Luca looked at Max. "You can go ahead and order,"Luca said, "By the time you get done, I should be ready." Max nodded and looked at Alex. "I'll have a cheeseburger, with fries, and a vanilla milkshake,"Max said. 

Alex wrote down Max's order, and looked at Luca. "And for you?" Alex asked. "I'll have the same, but instead of a vanilla milkshake, make it a chocolate,"Luca said. Alex wrote down Luca's order and looked at them. "I'll be back with your food,"Alex said. 

Luca and Max nodded, and Alex walked away. "So?" Max asked, "How's that going?" Luca smiled. "They've been together for 2 years,"Luca said. "What about you?" Max asked. "What about me?" Luca asked. 

"Anyone catch your attention?" Max asked, "Or are you planning on staying single for the rest of your life?" "Haha, very funny,"Luca said sarcastically. Max laughed. "I'm serious,"Max said. 

Luca smiled. "I like guys,"Luca said embarrassingly. Max reached across the table and placed his hand on top of his. "That's hot,"Max smiled. Luca blushed a little. 

Max smiled. "You're cute when you smile,"Max said, "You should smile more often." Luca's face turned red, and Max laughed. "Hey hey, I would appreciate it if you didn't turn red on me,"Max said. 

Luca covered his face with his hands and finally calmed down after a few minutes. Alex came back with both their food and milkshakes. "Enjoy,"Alex said while walking away. 

They both ate and were left with their milkshakes. "Okay, what's your favorite color?" Max asked. "Red,"Luca said. Max smiled. "Are you sure we're not the same person?" Max asked. 

Luca giggled. "Your favorite Disney movie?" Luca asked while sipping on his shake. "The Lion King, 100%,"Max stated, "Seriously, if you can name a better movie than the Lion King, then I'll take you on a real date." 

Luca sighed and shrugged his shoulders in defeat. "I can't think of any,"Luca smiled. "I win,"Max said. "Yeah, you do,"Luca said, "I guess we'll never get that real date." Max looked at Luca. 

"You think you're funny, don't you?" Max asked while finishing his shake, "You actually think I'm not taking you out?" "I couldn't think of a better movie,"Luca smiled while sipping his shake, "So no." 

"Lucas Williams,"Max said, "I'm going to take you on a date, mark my words." Luca nodded. "Okay,"Luca said.

 They finished their shakes, paid, and Luca took Max home. "Goodnight, Max,"Luca smiled. "Goodnight, Luca,"Max smiled.
