Strings of Love

Chapter Fifteen

"Three months,"Luca said softly, "It's been three months since we talked." "Your love for each other was out of this world,"Alex said, "You need to talk to him." Luca sighed and nodded. 

"I'll stop by his house later,"Luca said. "Go now,"Alex said, "You might not ever get your chance if you go later." Luca sighed and got up from the couch and grabbed his keys. "See you later, man,"Alex said. "See you,"Luca said, "I'll update you." 

Alex nodded and bro-hugged Luca. "Alright,"Alex said, "Go get your man." Luca laughed and walked outside. He got in his car and drove to Max's house. 

Luca arrived at Max's house and knocked on the door. The door opened and Max was standing there with a towel over his shoulder and his hair was wet. 

"Hey, come in,"Max said. Luca walked into the house and went upstairs to Max's room. "Can we talk?" Luca asked. Max nodded and started drying his hair with the towel. 

"Max, I'm sorry,"Luca said, "I never meant to hurt you. I love you so much." "Really?" Max asked while looking at Luca, "You miss me that much?" Luca nodded. "Yes,"Luca said. 

Max walked over to Luca and pulled him to his feet. "I missed you way more,"Max smiled. "Not possible,"Luca said. Max nodded. "Very possible,"Max said. 

Luca shook his head. "Nope,"Luca said. Max wrapped his arms around Luca's waist and pulled him closer to him. "I love you, baby,"Max smiled.

 "I love you too,"Luca said. Max kissed Luca and Luca kissed back. The kiss deepened and Max slipped his hands up Luca's shirt and he pulled it off. "I'll show you how much I've missed you,"Max winked. 

4 hours later, Max and Luca were breathing heavily and sweat drenched from their bodies. "Oh my god,"Max panted, "You're so amazing." Luca smiled and ran his hands through his hair. 

Max rolled over on top of Luca and kissed him. "We just got done,"Luca said. "I could do this all day with you,"Max smiled. Luca flipped them over so that he was on top of Max. "I love you,"Luca said. "I love you more,"Max said. 

They heard the doorbell. "I don't want to get up,"Luca pouted, "I just got you back." Max smiled and kissed Luca's forehead. "I got it,"Max said while grabbing his boxers and putting them on. He grabbed a shirt and pulled it over his head. 

Max walked downstairs and opened the door. "Can I help you?" Max asked. "Is Luca here?" Kate asked.

 "Yeah, what's wrong Kate?" Max asked. Kate walked into the house and closed the door. "Max, something happened to Mariah,"Kate said. "What do you mean?" Max asked. 

"Mariah's in the hospital,"Kate said. "What happened to her?" Max asked. "What's the matter?" Luca asked while walking downstairs buckling his pants. 

Kate cleared her throat and looked at Max and then Luca. "You're back together?" Kate asked. Luca and Max nodded. Kate smiled. "What were you guys talking about?" Luca asked. 

"Luca,"Kate said softly, "Mariah...she's in the hospital." Luca ran outside to his car, got in and drove to the hospital. He ran inside and saw his mom at the front desk. "Where is she?" Luca asked scaredly. 

"Luca,"Ms. Williams said. "Mom, please tell me she's okay,"Luca said. His mom shook her head. "Baby,"Ms. Williams said sadly, "She's very sick." "What room is she in?" Luca asked. "408,"Ms. Williams said. 

Luca ran to the elevator, pressing the button frantically until the doors opened. He took the elevator to the 4th floor and ran down the hallway to Mariah's room. 

Luca paused in his tracks when he saw a man standing by her. His anger sparked and he ran into the room and threw the man against the wall. Luca threw multiple punches until he was pulled away. 

"Lucas, stop it!" Alex yelled while pulling him away from the man. "What that hell are you doing here!?' Luca asked while yelling, "Did you do this to her!?" 

"Hey, hey, look at me,"Max said softly while trying to calm Luca down, "Focus on me, baby." "Take off your hood,"Luca said. The man didn't do anything. "Take off your hood!" Luca yelled. 

The man removed his hood and Luca broke down into tears. Ms. Williams walked into the room and saw Luca crying. "Luca,"Ms. Williams said.

 Luca looked at his mom. "Did you know he was here?" Luca asked while crying. Ms. Williams nodded. Luca broke out of Alex's grip and ran out of the building. 

Max and Alex followed him. "Who the hell was he?" Max asked. Luca didn't say anything. "Lucas!" Alex yelled, "Who was he!" "My dad,"Luca panted, "He's my dad."
