Strings of Love

Chapter Eleven

Max fell onto Luca, both breathing heavy, sweat drenching from both their bodies, hair sticking to their foreheads. "Next time,"Max said while panting, "Don't disobey me." Luca said nothing, and enjoyed what just happened. 

"Do you understand me?" Max asked. "Yes,"Luca whimpered as he felt Max's grip tightened on his waist. "Good boy,"Max said while kissing Luca and getting out of bed. 

Luca sighed deeply and grabbed his phone from the nightstand. Kate texted him.

Kate: Lucas, I swear to God I'm going to kill you! 

Luca: What's wrong with you?

Kate: The Rave!? Did you really forget about the most important thing to me!? 

Luca ran his hands through his hair. "Shit,"Luca mumbled frustratingly. He picked up his phone again. 

Luca: Kate, I'm sorry. I really am. I was on a date with Max and I lost track of time. I'm so sorry. 

Kate: Where are you?

Luca: I stayed with Max. 

Kate: Okay, I'm on my way

Luca: Okay. 

Luca put his phone back on the stand and got out of the bed. He fell to the ground. "Maxwell, I'm going to kill you!" Luca yelled. Max opened the bathroom door and saw Luca on the ground. He laughed. 

"Babe, you okay?" He asked. Luca flipped Max off. "Shut up,"Luca said. Max picked Luca up. "Where are you trying to go?" Max asked. "Bathroom,"Luca said. Max took Luca to the bathroom with him. 

"Shower or bath?" Max asked. "Shower,"Luca said. Max turned on the shower and looked at Luca. "Alone or together?" Max asked.

Luca shot a glare at Max. "Alone,"Luca said. Max winked at Luca. "Together,"Max said while taking off his boxers and getting in the shower with Luca. "Max,"Luca said softly while putting his hands on Max's chest, "Alone." 

Max shook his head, and pushed Luca up against the shower wall. "You're upset,"Max said. "I'm not,"Luca said. "You are,"Max said, "It's seriously all over your face. What's wrong?" Luca shook his head. "Nothing,"Luca said. 

Max stepped closer to Luca, closing the gap between the two of them. "If I did something wrong, then tell me how to fix it,"Max said.

 Luca ran his hands through Max's hair and pulled him closer so that their faces were only a few inches away from each other.

 "Just be quiet,"Luca said while kissing him, "Please." Max picked Luca up again, and Luca wrapped his legs around Max's waist. 

*After shower*

Luca was sitting on the counter in the kitchen, fully dressed. There was a knock at the door. Luca opened it and Kate and Alex walked inside. 

"You left me for your coffee?" Kate asked. Luca sipped on his hot chocolate. "Not coffee,"Luca corrected, "Hot chocolate." "Well, that's fair,"Kate said.

 Max walked downstairs and hugged Kate and Alex. "Wassup?" Max asked, "Why'd you guys stop by?" "We wanted to hang out,"Kate said, "And there is something I need to tell you both."

 "Okay,"Luca said while getting off the counter and sitting on the couch in the living room, "Tell us." "Okay, so I know how you and Andy were,"Kate said, "So I took it upon myself to...well…." There was a knock at the door. 

Luca looked at Kate angrily. "What the hell did you do?" Luca asked while standing up from the couch. Max walked over to the door and opened it. Andy walked in, and Max closed the door. 

Kate grabbed Luca's hand and took him into the hallway. "Kate, I'm two seconds away from killing you!" Luca whispered angrily, "And I mean it!" "I thought this would be a good thing,"Kate said. 

Luca looked at Kate like he was about to rip her hair out of her head. "Why is he here!?" Luca asked. "He wanted to know what we were doing and I told him that we were going to hang out with you,"Kate said. "Does he know about Max?" Luca asked. 

Kate smiled sheepishly. Luca groaned. "Kate, I'm seriously going to kill you before this night is over!" Luca exclaimed. "Just for a few hours, please,"Kate begged, "Just for a few." 

Luca sighed frustratingly. "Fine,"Luca said, "But if he makes any kind of pass at Max, then I'm going to fight." "You won't need to,"Kate said, "I promise." Luca nodded and walked out of the hallway with Kate following. 

"Who are you?" Max asked. "I'm Andy, Luca's ex,"Andy said. Max nodded. "Luca's ex…,"Max mumbled softly. "Who are you?" Andy asked. Before Max could introduce himself, Luca stood in front of Max. 

"No one,"Luca smiled, "Just go get a drink from the kitchen, please." Andy nodded and went to the kitchen. Max turned Luca around to him. "I'm all of a sudden "No one" now?" Max asked. 

"Look, Andy doesn't know that I moved on, and it's best if he doesn't,"Luca said. "Why?" Max asked. "I just never got a chance to tell him,"Luca said. Max nodded. "So what do I get to play tonight?" Max asked, "Your boyfriend or No one?" 

Luca sighed. "It's not like that at all,"Luca said. "I could care less that your ex is here,"Max said, "You're not his anymore, Lucas. You're mine, not his. And if I have to prove that to him then I will." Luca groaned irritatedly. 

"Hey, everything will be fine,"Max said, "It's just a few hours, what could possibly go wrong in a few hours?" Luca sighed. "With Andy,"Luca said softly, "Everything."
