As I sat on my art bench and moved my pencil around on the page, I heard tiny feet pattering along the floor upstairs, along with bigger feet running beside them. I watched as my children ran downstairs and raced out the back yard, giggling.

Willow lives next right next door to us. She became a medic, moved by Mae's determination to always help others. She's not married, or ever dated anyone. She lives with by herself, although here is basically a second home for her.

After 3 more years since that night in the tree, Apollo finally proposed. Of course, I accepted, and we got married a few months later in the field with the tree. Four years later, we had a baby boy, that we of course, named Carter Beetee McGuire. Seven years later, we had another child, this time a girl. We named her Willow Mae McGuire. Right now, my children are 14 and 7.

We live close to what used to be district 3, so we can go visit my father. Beetee is doing well. He lives by himself, but comes over for dinner every night.

My other friends, Johanna, and Haymitch, are doing well. I meet up with them a few times a year, when we get together again. I learned the Finnick Odair, one of my friends from district four, died in the rebellion.

I still think of them everyday, Carter, Mae, Wiress, Nova, Pexley, Mazie, Squirrel, Finnick, Erli, and Darnia. None of them deserved to go. But each and everyone of them gave their life's to a good cause. Keeping generations, and generations safe.

Willow, Johanna, Haymitch, and Beetee are coming over soon to celebrate the 21st anniversary of the last hunger games. As we sat down to good food, and a warm house, I still remember what it was like to live in district 3 and all of the coldness and hunger that other's felt. But I have the rest of my life to live happily with family and friends.
