Marcus was looking right at Jim, the security guard who he had bribed with 300 dollars to not report him just three weeks ago. Jim was of Hispanic decent, like Marcus, had a shaven face and a scar across his arm. Marcus guessed that the scar was from when MegaCorp took everything from him. Eivor saw Jim and asked "Are you that Jim guy that Marcus told us about?" Jim looked at Eivor as she came to the window and said "Yes and it's thanks to him that my son's alive". Jim looked at Marcus and said "The money you had was double the amount I needed to pay for Jim Junior's kidney transplant, the surgery was a success and he'll live thanks to you". Marcus was glad that Jim Junior was going to live and asked "How's he doing?" Jim gladly said "He's doing fine and is making a full recovery". Marcus then realised that Jim wasn't wearing the blue guard uniform he originally had and was now wearing an orange uniform with the word "Jim and Son's Delivery Company" sewed onto it. Marcus asked Jim "What's with the different uniform?" Jim pointed to his left and the kids in the bus saw an orange Vespa. The Vespa had a basket behind the seat and the same words on Jim's uniform were on it. Marcus looked back at Jim with the other kids and asked "What happened?" Jim happily said "With the spare 150 dollars, I was able to buy that Vespa and started my own delivery company. Within a week I had made a ton of money and was able to buy two more Vespa's. I now have two employees and if you want a package delivered, Jim and Son's Delivery Company is who ya need to call". Marcus was glad for Jim and asked "Who do you deliver the packages for?" Jim answered with "Mostly the local mail service, but we also deliver packages for people who want something delivered for a friend or family member". Eivor timidly said "We found your old garage, we know what happened".

Jim's smile disappeared, he looked across both sides of the street and said "We were as desperate, we had no clue that MegaCorp would try to get rid of us once we sold to them". Marcus scoffed and said "Reminds me of my step-dad, who is an absolutely terrible man and I wish never to see him again". Jim had figured that Marcus was a run away when he saw how angry Krieger was. Jim looked at the kids in the bus and asked "This some kind of resistance your working on?" Marcus nodded and said "It is, we're hiding out in an abandoned city and we're made up of runaways". Jim raised his left eyebrow. Eivor said with reassurance "We all left for a good reason". Marcus backed her up saying "Sam's parents beat him when he became a Muslim, Ryan's mom was framed for a crime she didn't commit and Eivor here had a prostitute of a mother". Jim cleared his throat and said "I just hope you kids know what your doing, a revolution against corporations that practically run our country is a hard thing to do". Marcus reassured Jim saying "We've all agreed not to begin directly attacking the Corpos until the majority of us are adults". Jim was raised his eyebrow and asked "Directly?" Marcus admitted "We are gonna launch a few ambushes and a few more heists". Jim then put two and two together. Jim said quietly so no one on the street could hear him "So it was you who stole those guns?" Marcus looked down and nodded. Jim said with worry "Be careful in the future, the Corpos are capable of God knows what and have committed unspeakable acts over the years". Marcus agreed and said "That's the reason we're rebelling, they've ruined the lives of every single American in the country and won't stop until they have become the government."

Jim looked at Eivor and said "You keep an eye on Marcus for me, okay". Eivor looked at Marcus, then back at Jim and said "Alright then". Marcus chuckled and said "Don't worry, we look out for each other". Jim looked back at Marcus and said "Listen Marcus, you and all these other kids are building a family by choice. Treasure the time you have with your family and don't take them for granted". Marcus nodded and said "Okay then, now we've got to go. Judging by that missing poster of me, Krieger still won't stop looking for me". On the wall behind Jim was a missing poster of Marcus that said "Missing, reward 100,000$". Jim quickly teared down the poster and ripped it apart. He said to Marcus with seriousness in his voice "Ya better get going before any Corpos see you". Marcus nodded and said "Start up the engine Eivor". Eivor got in the driver seat and said "We're at 75% fuel, enough to get back". As Eivor started up the engine, Jim got something out of his pocket and said to Marcus "Here, in case you need it". Jim handed Marcus a Jim and Son's Delivery Company card that had the company hotline on it. Marcus put it in his pocket and said "If we ever need your help, I'll make the call". The bus then started driving away and Marcus waved goodbye to Jim. Marcus sat down in his seat behind Eivor and said "We have a valuable ally in him". Eivor agreed and said "I just hope he isn't like the other Corpos". Marcus patted her on the shoulder and said "He isn't, he's a nice guy and maybe able to help us in the future". Thus the Freedom Democracy League had now double their previous membership and a valuable ally. But needless to say, this wouldn't be the end of this story. When one chapter ends another begins. The first chapter in the Freedom Democracy Leagues story had ended and now a new one was about to begin.
