It was a sunny day in Providence Rhode Island. But that didn't change the fact that the people of Providence lived monotonous lives under the rule of Corporate Fascism. They would work for fourteen hours a day, six days a week and get paid barely anything in return. It was truly terrible and the Corpos were the only ones who got three meals a day, every day. The Providence port was once owned by the city council, but ArmTech had blackmailed them into giving them control of the harbour, what went in and out of it and the lives of those who worked there. It now cost twice as much for other Corporations to get things through Providence harbour, but it cost half as much for ArmTech. Not anymore though, that was about to change. Five kids in ArmTech intern uniforms were walking down the street to the port. There were three males and two females. They were all teenagers close to adulthood and looked rather mature for their age. They made their way to the checkpoint and saw that the guards now had stun guns. Marcus whispered to Eivor "Looks like ArmTech have doubled down on security since we were last here". Eivor quietly replied "Those are the same guards as last time, this shouldn't be too hard". They all walked up to the checkpoint and Marcus said as inconspicuously as he could "Good morning, we're the new interns". The guard was reading his newspaper and looked up to see five normal looking interns. Marcus thought to himself "Hopefully Internal got our entrance sorted out". The guard checked his computer and it said that there were five new interns coming in. The guard casually asked "Id please". The five of them handed in their ids and the guard carefully inspected them while the other guard was reading the morning paper. The guard casually said "Alright then. Head over to the warehouse and start stacking the empty crates in one pile and the full up crates in another". They all nodded, but Codes said "So sorry, but I kind of need to use the bathroom". The guard pointed behind him and said "Go ahead kid". While the rest headed of to the warehouse, Codes entered the checkpoint. Codes apologetically said "I'll be quick". The guard then asked "Sure you don't wanna leave that back pack of yours out here? Could get wet". Codes suddenly said "No thanks". Codes entered the bathroom and sat down on the toilet. Codes slowly and quietly unzipped his bag and pulled out a gas mask and the sleeping gas. Codes put the mask on and opened the one foot high capsule. Gas immediately came out and poured into the checkpoint. The two guards suddenly felt a bit woozy and one of them asked "Hey, what's going on?" The other one said "Don't know, I'm suddenly feeling a bit, a bit, a....bit". With that the two guards collapsed onto the floor. One of them saw Codes exit the bathroom with a gas mask on and walk up to them. Codes knelt down and asked them "The sleeping gas has already made you as sleepy as a boxer after a day of fighting. Much more effective than those frying pans we used last year".
Both the guards eyes widened with shock. They couldn't believe that they were now facing one of the people who had stolen hundreds of guns and thousands of bullets a year prior. They also couldn't believe that it was a kid in his mid teens! With all the energy they had left, the two guards said in unison "It....was......you?" The two guards fell fast asleep. Codes checked the canister and saw that the sleeping gas would last for two hours. Codes put the half empty canister in his bag and unlocked the door. Marcus, Eivor, Ryan and Jane all came in wearing gas masks. Marcus quickly closed the door and said "How long until the gas clears?" Codes answered with "About ten minutes". Eivor and Ryan bought out some rope and tied up the guards. Codes got to the computer and took a look at the cameras. Codes said through his mask "There's five guards at each warehouse door and two guards at the substation. This will be harder than we thought". Eivor was shocked and said "I thought that the only new guard was at the substation?" Marcus responded with "Internals intel was over three months old. They must've altered things since then". Jane then said "Should we abort the mission?" Marcus looked at Jane and said "If we do that then millions will die". Marcus looked through the camera screens and said "We need a new plan and we need it fast". Marcus looked very carefully and spotted fire bells throughout the port. Marcus pointed at the fire alarm button and said "We'll hit the fire alarm button and they'll think that there's a fire drill. That'll buy us a decent distraction". Codes looked at Marcus and said "Once you guys are at the back door of the warehouse the substation is in front of, I'll delete the footage of the last three hours and turn of the cameras". Ryan then said "Then you'll hit the fire alarm and we'll clip that there power wire". Marcus said with worry "They could cancel the export if we do". Jane snapped her fingers and said "We'll wait until the ships start to leave in fifteen minutes and then we make our move". Marcus thought that was a good idea and said "Okay then, but the guards have guns. They could start shooting us when we fire the missiles". They all thought for a moment, but then Codes said "There's still some gas left in the canister, why don't we use it". Marcus looked at the canister and said "Okay then, let's do this guys".
