March 4th 2051
Ten years had passed since the founding of the Freedom Democracy League, ten years since they took their oaths to overthrow the Corpos, ten years since they first stole hundreds of guns from the Corpos and nine years since they prevented ArmTech from selling weapons of war to the world. The F.D.L had established a thriving community inside of Boston, the North Village now had over 7,000 people in it! This was mainly because since the kids were now adults, they had been recruiting people who were up to the age of 35. Entire families had been recruited into the Freedom Democracy League, the rebellion that would one day overthrow the Corpos. Of course since the release of the Angel's Gift nine years prior, cancer and diabetes rates throughout New England had dramatically dropped. Plant life and animal life was thriving and the people of New England had never felt better. Marcus Libertad was the League's Chief High Councillor and had been re-elected to the position three times over the last decade. It had been a year since the beginning of his fourth term and he now used the City Hall as his office. He looked down from his office at the street below him and saw some of the soldiers guarding the city hall. The F.D.L had set up an official army some time ago and called it "The Army of Freedom". Ryan Armis was High Councillor of Military Operations and so that made him head of the army. Marcus looked in the direction the North Village was at and concentrated really hard to hear people going about their business. They were harvesting crops, making weapons, educating the young, maintaining the cars and helping rebuild Boston. Marcus finished filing some paperwork that approved the reopening of the Battery Wharf Hotel, a popular hotel from when Boston was in her glory days and got ready for this years celebrations. Every March 4th had been deemed to be Founding day, in which the citizens of the F.D.L celebrate the League's founding. Marcus was in full military uniform and his blue hair was well combed. As Marcus looked at his reflection in the mirror he jokingly said "Not exactly professional, but you get what you can when your an armed insurgent trying to brutally reshape society by any means necessary".
That was when the door to his office opened and there was Deputy Chief High Councillor Eivor Conditor, the very first runaway to come to Boston and turn it into a refuge for kids who ran away from troubled homes. Eivor was also in full army uniform and had her green hair shaped in a nice bun. Marcus walked over and said "Good to see you Eivor". The two hugged and Eivor said "Good to see you as well, now come on, those celebrations aren't going to host themselves". The two walked through the corridor on their way to the car outside. They passed by many rooms where A.F soldiers were clearing out the dust and looking for anything important. Marcus saw that one soldier had found a file that said on the front "City Council Bank transactions". The soldier exited the room and stopped the two rebel leaders in their tracks saying "You might wanna take a look at this sir". Marcus was handed the file and started reading it. The bank transactions showed that there had been transfers to the bank account of City Council member James Bribeington from the central bank account of (You guessed it)MegaCorp. Marcus saw that the transactions included the selling of land owned by the city council and saw that the area where the car factory was built had been bought from them by MegaCorp! Marcus's eyes widened as he saw that Bribeington had authorised the purchase and MegaCorp had payed him a huge amount of money after the factory blew up. Eivor was reading it two and her eyes widened as she put two and two together. Eivor snapped her fingers and angrily said "James Bribeington was in on it!" Marcus handed the file back to the soldier and said "Get this to the League Police Department as soon as possible". The soldier saluted him and said "Yes Chief High Councillor Libertad". The soldier then started walking off to get the evidence to the L.P.D. About ten minutes later, Marcus and Eivor were inside the car and heading off to the North Village to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the League's founding. They were being driven by a 23 year old driver who said "I heard that Sergeant Lau and Lieutenant Cannon tied the knot some time ago, you wouldn't mind telling them I said congrats". Marcus happily replied with "Of course, after all, they told me yesterday that they're going to try for a baby". Eivor had a stunned look on her face as she said "After just three months of marriage?" Marcus looked at Eivor and said "To be fair, the two of them have been absolute love birds since we bought her here almost nine years ago".
