So, I think some were confused with the last chapter. I am so sorry about that, hopefully this chapter isn't the same. I will go back and revise at some time. Anyways, let me know if this is the same. It might be a few days until the next update. I am trying to make it the best I can, so it's taking a little longer to write down. Don't forget to vote and comment! I really want to know how this story is going and how you guys think it is. Is my plot good? I am kinda getting a little bummed about it, not sure why, but I am. Maybe because it's almost over-Only four more chapters to go!

Hiccup trudged up the hill to his house. The sound of cheers, tankards clanging, drunken yells and music boomed from the great hall. The man chuckled, they were still in celebration. Today had been a celebratory day. Hiccup won the race, in Astrid's name of course, it was one of the those rare days that there wasn't hail, and his cousin became a father not too long ago.
Toothless trailed behind the man slowly, pawing at little patches of moonlit grass that beamed down through the night cloud cover. Suddenly, a butterfly flitted past. The dragons ears perked up as he crouched down. The insect fluttered and landed on the grass in a ray of silvery light. The black dragon crept forward slowly, then pounced. He grasped at the butterfly and cupped it under his paws, but when he lifted a paw, it was gone. The dragon crooned, confused.
Hiccup turned his head back at his dragon. "Toothless, you coming?"
The dragon, answering his rider's question, bounded away.
Hiccup shook his head. "Don't stay out too late!" He called after the night fury.
As Toothless ran down the hill after the butterfly, Hiccup walked back up to his house. He gazed up in confusion, there were no lights on. Usually Astrid has at least one candle flickering in the window, that is until she falls asleep. She must already be in bed. The chief smiled as he fumbled with the front door. He quickly entered and shut the door behind him.
"Astrid?" He asked. "Are you still up?"
No answer. He shrugged, thinking she was asleep. The man unclipped his cloak and his sword, putting them on the coatrack by the front door before wandering in. He wandered over to the hearth and knelt down. After striking the flint a few times, the fire roared to life. Without much thought, he grasped to his right for the prodding stick, but it wasn't there. He furrowed his brows and looked at where is was supposed to be.
"Call him over here." A man said.
"Never." Astrid spat through her teeth.
She struggled in the man's grasp. He had one arm wrapped firmly around her neck, pressing his large bicep to her jugular. With one quick squeeze, he could knock her out. That she wasn't worried about, she would wake up later. What she was worried about was the cool blade that was pressed to her abdomen. The man dug the knife into her skin, but not hard enough to break the skin...yet.
"I will cut kill you if you don't."
"I do not fear death." Astrid said sternly.
"I will kill him."
"Not if he doesn't come here." The blonde threatened.
The man behind her huffed furiously. "I will cut this child out of you right now and leave you alive, leaving you to explain to your husband why your child is dead."
Astrid wrinkled her nose in fury. Nobody threaten's her baby. "I know who you are."
The man squeezed her neck tighter. Astrid gasped for breath as he lifted her onto her toes, bending her back backwards. "I have no doubt that you do, but that will change nothing. If I kill any one of you it's already been done. Now....call him."
