"Do you think she's alright? Do you think he's alright?" Finn asked, taking a sip of his tea.

He and Valka were sitting in the den of the Hofferson household. It was the morning after the Siphoning epidemic and Astrid hadn't come down from her room...neither has Hiccup. Finn was worried that he had perished and Astrid was going crazy because of it. Valka patted his hand, giving him a solemn smile.

"I'm not sure." She gave her head a slight shake. "But she'll have to come down sometime to eat."

"Unless he is gone and she is willing to starve herself..." Finn mumbled.

"I'll tell you what we'll do." Valka said, removing her hand and sitting back in the chair. Finn listened intently. "If by tomorrow morning she hasn't come down, we'll go up."

Finn nodded, letting them sink into silence, that is until Toothless crooned sadly. Valka patted his head.

"It's okay, Toothless, it's okay."

'Where am I?' Hiccup thought. 'What happened?'

His head was pounding, his breaths coming shakily to him. The dream hit his mind like the red deaths tail. All he remembered was the dream he had; it started out great, but then...

'Did I do that?' He wondered, thinking about his dream.'Did I kill our baby?'

He couldn't have...he wouldn't. He hated seeing Astrid like that, begging and pleading. It sickened him. He squeezed his eyes, letting the tears flow. Then, he opened his eyes. A red cloth covered his face, then it moved.
L Hiccups eyes bugged out, but then he realized the someone was lying over him, crying. He squirmed, trying to get up.

"Hiccup..." The female voice crooned, half asleep.

'Astrid'

That's when he remembered what happened, he had hurt her...his mother and Eir.

'It's was the flowers...I hurt her, I hurt my family.' He thought. 'Did they get the cure?'

Hiccup moved his hands up and wrapped them around her waist. She jolted and froze; she was most definitely awake and okay.

"I'm so sorry milady." Hiccup said.

"Hiccup!" She yelled, lifting her body off of him.

The light from her window shown in, making Hiccup shield his eyes from the brightness. Astrid, seeing his struggle, moved so that her back covered the sun from his face. Hiccup looked around, seeing that his head was in the woman's lap and that her cloak had been placed over his body. Then he saw that Astrid's face was streaked with tears and beet red. Her eyes looked irritated from crying excessively.

"Are you okay?" Hiccup asked.

Astrid grabbed her fiancé's hands, playing with them in the air. "I'm okay."

"What about my mom? And Eir?" Hiccup asked. "I remember going to get Eir, her father was furious, but he let me take her. So I wrapped her up in my cloak and then ran out into the snow storm that came out of nowhere. Then I sneezed for a second time and fell, but made sure Eir was covered, and then I fell asleep and..."

Astrid hushed him, running her fingers along his hairline. "They are all okay, as we should be. You were the one that didn't get a full dose...how could you do that?"

Hiccup looked up to the blonde hovering over him. "I needed to make sure ya'll were okay and, don't take this the wrong way, but Eir was first priority. I couldn't..."

"I know," Astrid said, stroking his cheek. "You couldn't let a little girl die. I would have done the same." She leaned down and kissed him upside down. "I'm just glad you're up now."
