"You have to tell him." Ruffnut said.

The women, Astrid, Heather, and Ruffnut, sat in the stands of the academy, overlooking the arena that is now Astrid's classroom. The chief's wife leaned down and pried off a piece of loose wood from her seat about the size of her forearm. She chucked it into the air, just to have Stormfly take off and retrieve it.

"I know it." Astrid said as she leaned her head onto the bench behind her and propped her feet up on the bench below her. "I'm just nervous."

Heather, sitting to Astrid's right, patted her arm. "You both consented, you both wanted it."

Astrid sighed and placed on arm over her eyes and her other hand on her stomach. "I know that." She said quietly. "But for the past two nights i've tried. I go into our room at night and get into bed before I say 'babe, I need to tell you something'. He asks what, but I end up saying nothing...I can't get the words out of my mouth. Plus, what if I'm really not? I could be making signs out of too much desire."

Ruffnut scooted down to the bench in which Astrid sat on and leaned back next to her, propping her head up with her hand. "Maybe it's because you are too excited, try to relax. Stressing isn't good for you if you are."

Astrid removed the arm from her face, turning to look at the blonde next to her. "You know I don't know for sure, it's just a hunch. Like I said, I can feel it, but i'm not positive."

"Then maybe you need to go to Gothi so you can be sure." Heather suggested.

Astrid pursed her lips. "I know I should, but I don't want to have someone see me going to her or her coming to me. If they do, it'll be passed around the village and people will be asking me if I am sick...and I don't want to be pressured. If Hiccup finds out I went to Gothi without him and I didn't tell him, he'll probably get mad at me."

She sat up and grabbed the stick that Stormfly had been begging her to throw again. After throwing it as far as she could, Ruff patted her back.

"He could never get mad at you, he loves you too much." The blonde said.
Heather nodded in agreement.

"But still, I just want to tell him before, so that we can go to Gothi's together." Astrid sighed again and stood. "Maybe I should go find him now, you know, pull him away from his work for a second and make his day."

The other girls smiled at each other.

"I think he would like that very much." Heather said.

Astrid grinned and whistled for Stormfly, who came immediately. She mounted the nadder and took off to find her husband. The woman searched for a few minutes, but eventually found the chief stationed in front of two other viking men, bickering with each other. Astrid told Stormfly to land, and just as they did she heard the fighting.

"He took one of my chickens!" A brown headed man with a long, straight beard yelled.

"Did not!" They other man, a blond, curly haired man, protested.

Hiccup groaned. "How do you know he took your chicken?" He asked, placing a hand to his throbbing head.

"I had five chickens last night and this morning only four were left." The brunette said.

"That doesn't prove that he took your chicken." Hiccup said.

"Search his house! I'm sure he is in there!" The man yelled just as the door to a house on their left burst open.

"Daddy! The chicken got out!" A girl of about 10 years screamed, running after a chicken.

The brown headed man pointed to the blond. "Chicken thief!"
